"The property is new and modern and a lovely place to stay long or short term. It is worth noting that there is only street parking or paid undercover parking around the corner. There is construction on the building next door and if your room faces the street it can be quite noisy all hours of the night. "The unit was very clean and spacious. We were visiting for the marathon so it was great to have our own kitchen. Grocery store was only a 5 min walk away and the shuttle to the race start was only a 2 min walk. Security guards at the entrance to the hotel so safe. You do need to be street smart as soon as you exit the hotel and walking towards the train station area is more prone to cell phone theft and begging. Just be smart. We were able to walk to hop-on-hop-off bus start in 10 mins."

"It is a great place to stay; I assume the neighborhood will be more exciting when there are events at the Cape Town Convention Center. But there is nothing you can not manage using Uber or Cabs. My room was very comfortable, and the services rendered were well received."

"This is a backpacker place not a hotel/motel. They don’t provide things where a normal hotel provides like towels, shampoos, conditioners, bath soap, etc. It’s a shared kitchen so you need to bring or cook your own food. Only cookware is provided. You pretty much have to bring your own things overall. Angeline, the manager was pretty nice, helpful and accommodating. Free wi-fi and connection was good. "The pictures you post on the website and what I found are not similar at all. 1- First of all, the hotel doesn't have a good entrance and it took us a long time to figure out to bring the bags. 2- The moment we entered the room we were shocked. The couches are clearly in bad conditions and the doors , walls, etc are not nice at all. The paint in the wall was cracked and we even found a red stain on the pillow.
