The check-in/out process was terrible! I got over 30 emails, calls, and texts from the rental company just upon booking the property. They asked me the same questions 5 times. Once I got to the property getting keys was a challenge. The lock box method they use is confusing and feels dangerous in the dark alley way. The first day we accidentally locked our garage key and garage clicker in the car and the rental company told us there was no way for them to help us. We had to go door to door asking for someone to let us into the shared garage. Luckily we found someone over 12 hours after we contacted the rental company. Someone in my party was woken up at 5 am because their bed just fell apart!! I will say that the maintenance folks fixed it very quickly and the rental company was very responsive. Over half of the lights in the property were unusable because they buzzed so loudly! The location is very convenient, but the beach access just across the street is closed. Having the pool and hot tub was great, but getting the hot tub hot is not intuitive. Once we knew how to turn it on (thanks so a very kind neighbor) we were very happy.

Family friendly comfy condo

The condo was great and totally set up and comfortable for us and our young kids (2 and 6). TVs all had Disney plus that was a nice benefit and place was clean and cozy. The advertised walking to beaches wasn’t beaches, it was all rocks. The pool wasn’t heated and the hot tub was not working, hence the 4/5 rating. Location was good close to playground at buccaneer park, and only 30 min walk to the pier with better beaches! Would love to come back again!

Right on the beach. Safe neighborhood. Short distance to shopping malls and dining. Great pool and spa. Only thing, my child slept on the couch and woke up with spider bites. Otherwise recommend this property.

This is a quiet vacation rental good for an individual or family. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms and comes supplied with towels, shampoo, condition, soap, and cleaning supplies. Just a short walk to the beach and we were fortunate enough that the beach was covered in sand when we visited. Close to local stores. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen adequately equipped. Nice having the pool, hot tub and outdoor grill all available for use. Air conditioning works well or you can open the 2 sliding glass doors for a nice breeze. Only difficulty was getting the washer and dryer to turn on as the on button was very difficult to push. Other than that would definitely stay here again!

Great Family Vacation Spot

We enjoyed the proximity to Oceanside attractions, pier, restaurants, & beaches, as well as the 6 minute drive to Carlsbad State beach for sand & sun. The beach across from this house has alot of rocks, but still made for a beautiful ocean view & breeze while enjoying the pool & hot tub on site. And we didn’t mind driving to/from the beach, easily found parking. The property manager responded promptly to my questions regarding amenities, beach gear, etc & arranged for housekeeping to leave additional amenities as our stay was 11 days. The neighbors were friendly & quiet. Excellent home & location for a family trip to Southern California.

Rock beach, not sand

Securing rental was a pain in the rear with their management company! Clean property, apt was as described and pictured. Confused on how to get into garage on arrival. Biggest disappointment was that from pics I thought we would sit in the sand in front of apt...NOPE, waves into giant jagged rocks on the back of private homes. Few inlets of river rock lined beach but not a place to spend the day. There is NO sand beach here, you have to drive to a true sand beach with waves for the kids to play in and boogie board. We found one 6 min away so not too bad but not what I had thought I had payed for.

Oceanside 4th House

The apartment was a nice upgrade from staying in a hotel. The location is right off the ocean and there are lots of shops and restaurants nearby and it’s very close to Carlsbad Village. The couch and beds were comfortable and the ocean breeze was nice. We did have a few issues with the property but they were handled my management professionally and quickly.

The property was very well maintained and is located perfectly for our family.

The property was extremely clean and generously stocked with paper products. The close proximity to the beach is great and the pool is excellent. The family was VERY happy. The two suggestions I would make is to stock a broom and dustpan and a spray cleaner. Thank you for a great stay!

So much better than a hotel!

We just spent 6 days at the condo and had such a great time. It's comfortable, perfect for a family of 4 plus mother-in-law and our dog. The kids loved the pool and we were able to watch them from the patio. The sliding doors let in so much sunshine and fresh air. House comes stocked with all the necessary things, except a colander which we picked up and left for the next pasta eaters. Pillows and bedding were so soft and comfortable. The garage parking was awesome (use the door that leads from garage to inside complex - so much easier.) Also the ladies that run property are so nice and easy to work with. They answered all questions and were accessible if necessary. The washer and dryer are tricky to turn on, make sure to dump the water from the dryer drawer. That seemed to help. And take note that you're not allowed to walk your dogs to potty anywhere on the grounds. There are some areas in the neighborhood. The best we found was just over the tracks on Cassidy there's a grassy area. Also none of the beaches in Oceanside are dog friendly which is a bummer. Would not hesitate to book again here. Thanks for helping us having a great vacation!
