Nice house but cleaning needs improvement

The house was as pictured in the listing. It was spacious and suited our needs well. We wanted good outdoor space and this house has it. The neighborhood is also very nice and quiet. However, the house was not very clean when we arrived. The kitchen floor had some sticky messes on it, the cooktop was greasy and dirty, and the sliding glass door was disgusting. Also, the kitchen table and chairs were dirty and sticky. Jeremy, the property manager, sent us an email asking us to report any cleaning issues immediately, which we did, but he never got back to us. We had to call him after no response for three days. He was not very pleasant on the phone and the cleaning issues were never addressed. We ended up doing some of the cleaning ourselves. The other issue was the garbage. It was overflowing in the garage and smelled horrid. It was apparent the previous renters had small children so it is likely there were dirty diapers in the garbage as that’s what it smelled like. While we understand that the garbage is not picked up until Monday and we arrived on Saturday, copious amounts of stinky garbage from previous renters should not be left for new renters to deal with. The smell did not really leave the garage for our entire stay.

Delaware home

The home was beautiful, There was a few issues one stove ignitors didn't always work so had to light manually. Also it stated that we would be allowed 1 access per house per day for amenities. This didn't happen and when we went up to pool area was told for owners only.

Great Stay!

We are a family of 10 and this home was perfect for us! Plenty of space to maneuver around one another when we wanted to & yet at the same time, had elbow room to gather together when that occasion arose as well. The furniture was comfy, and the decor was just right (all was as pictured on the site), the amenities were sufficient (in fact, there were lots of things in the home that weren't even mentioned on the site which was a pleasant surprise) and they made the stay all the more enjoyable! The development is clean, quiet, and the neighbors are friendly. We had no issues and would definitely stay here again.

Exceeded Expectations

For a short notice rental- this place was amazing! The rental itself was immaculately clean and in brand new condition , with all of the amenities that I could have possibly needed during my stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the living room was perfect for a group, is awesome back patio and grill. The house is deceptively bigger than it looks and could easily accommodate a larger group. The upstairs could be its own apartment- Its an easy distance from beach- and has a cool community clubhouse. The host made the experience incredibly painless and was quickly responsive to our questions. Would definitely come back-

Belle maison dans un beau cartier. Beaucoup d’espace. L’annonce dit qu’il y a une piscine mais il faut payer 35$ par personne pour y avoir accès… Les draps et les serviettes ne sont pas fournis.

Brand new and clean

The property was clean and stocked with all the necessities needed. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were exceptional and house was spacious. Use of the garage was a bonus for storing beach supplies and bikes. Only negative were the Roku TV's, as we are not a streaming family so channels were limited.
