Quiet yet convenient location, roomy , great outdoor space

We loved the large deck & the quiet, convenient location . The house was open and spacious , we appreciated the 2nd fridge and onsite laundry . We were really spoiled by the 4 parking spots right outside the door.

Great space for family

We enjoyed our stay very much! Wish we could have stayed longer! Great view and location, convenient to everything. Beautiful sunset and morning sunshine. Fantastic deck on the canal.

Quiet Location on the Canal

House was as described. In a nice quiet location, not much boat traffic the week we were there. House was larger than pictures show. Was clean but not spotless. Dirty dishes in dishwasher and floor needed vacuuming. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Great house!

Great house but could have been cleaner. Floors were filthy and bathrooms were dirty. For a house thats supposed to be cleaned weekly, the shower doors were very dirty with soap scum and shower floor was stained with stubborn dirt. When we arrived wet blankets and towels were still in the washer.

Just a short getaway

The property is beautiful, cozy, and larger than it appears. Well equipped with everything you need. Home away from home best describes the place. Would highly recommend this location and we look forward to staying again.

Family vacation

This house was exactly as advertised! Check in process was super easy and fast and the building is not too far from the house to check in. They even give you a little bag with some things you may need (toilet paper trash bags, soap laundry detergent ect.) Which totally helped because I forgot to bring trash bags and laundry detergent Checkout was even easier just hand over the parking passes and your done. The house was very clean(except for the ceiling fans that seemed to not have been cleaned in a long time) that would be my only complaint for cleaniness. Had everything you needed in the kitchen for whatever you wanted to do. Has a Keurig and regular coffee pot( although the regular coffee pot top lid wasn't on the pot i guess someone broke it off and threw it away? We couldn't find it, so my husband had to rig it with a knife to make it drip into the pot to brew it) not a huge big deal to us bc it worked but they might wanna invest in a new coffee pot I dk how many people would figure out that trick to make it work. Or they can't just use the kuerig. There was plenty of dishes and glasses to serve a large dinner, plenty of silverware for our family of 4 but when we made dinner for the whole family(21) there wasn't enough forks. Again no big deal we had a family member bring extra but Incase someone else will be doing the same I'd like to be specific. I loved having the separate laundry room with the extra fridge. All bedrooms were spacious enough. The master bed isnt the comfiest but it did the job for the week. The deck was great for our morning coffee to watch the sunrise and to have a few drinks at night and tie off the jet skies The house was large enough to accommodate our whole family for dinner one night (21ppl) ...only my family 4 of us stayed at the house was plenty of room for the 4 of us. Having the extra den for the kids to play and watch their own shows, or even to do my workout in the morning without waking everyone up was perfect! The driveway was large enough to park both my SUV my husband's truck and the 2 jet skis trailer. The only other complaint I'd say is we knew we needed our own towels and sheets but we're not told there wasn't any bath mats for getting out of the tub/shower I didn't have enough towels with me so we made it work but would of been nice to know so I could have brought extra. Overall it was a great experience had everything we needed and was a very nice place to stay. We will definitely stay again!!

Great location, was nice having the boat slip, easy access to waterways.

Arrived at home and note on dishwater days out of order- no notification was given prior to us getting there. No instructions for patio door blinds, awning, etc. Contacted management company few times telephone and emails with no return call. Master bedroom bed hard and is held up with wood under it, had to fix the frame daily. Was nervous bed was going to collapse, had to be cautious getting in and out. Central ac not working but they had window units. I would suggest a good cleaning of the vents and ceiling fans. Normally wouldn't put so this in a review, but again never received a call back for property manager. Nice large deck, crab pot and beach stuff there for use.

Nice beach home within walking distance to the beach.

The property was clean and close to the beach. It was nice to have the deck (you can bring a boat/jet skis right up to the back of the house), a crab pod to catch crabs and a propane grill (even though it was empty and had to get a replacement tank which we didn't expect to have to pay for) to grill out. The beds (full) were very uncomfortable, especially in the master bedroom. I felt like the legs under the bed were going to collapse at any moment. We kept having to fix the legs. The one downfall I believe to this property is that it lacked a thorough description of what is in the home that renters can utilize, such as 4 beach chairs, 4 beach boards, etc. The living room couch/loveseat were dirty so we covered them with sheets. The kitchen is not fully stocked with crab items you would think would be there since you are at the beach and I have rented other places and found kitchens to be fully stocked, so bring your own kitchen items for eating crabs and grilling, especially a pot to cook the crabs. I think the property management just needs to update the description details of the property so when renting you know what is in the house and what you will need to bring. Overall, the house was nice, clean and comfortable for a family. Note, the first bedroom has 2 twin beds so if you have small children who dread going to bed while adults stay up, bring a noise machine because it's close to the living room.

Cozy small home on the bay

This small home was cozy and comfortable, though you might stress to management to do a better job of cleaning the floors. It was renovated probably a year or so ago, so the bathrooms and kitchen are modern and bright. We didn't complain about the cleaning since we were there in October during the pandemic, were mostly stay-at-home except for walks to the beach, and so didn't want cleaning service to come in while we were there. The beach is about 8 blocks away, so too far to schlep beach chairs etc., but off season it's easy to park on the street across from the beach public access point between two tall hotels. I was disappointed we couldn't use the fireplace—it should be noted in the description that it can't be used by guests. The grill was of great quality, and the kitchen was stocked well with decent pans and gadgets, for a rental. The coffee maker is a single-serve Keurig, so we bought a drip coffeepot and left it there. Though there are three good tvs, you need to be accustomed to using a smart tv in order to use the one in the living room effectively—the only one hooked up to broadcast cable; the others are only smart-tv driven (you need to bring your account info to use Netflix, for example). Having two seating areas was great—one for tv watchers, one for reading, and the furniture was all comfortable. Being on a waterway brought nature right up to the back deck, though the neighbors are all close by. Off season no one was there except across the waterway so it didn't matter so much. It rained a lot so we were indoors a lot, and the house was warm and cozy and yet spacious enough to accommodate five without going nuts. We were told to bring linens AND blankets and pillows, but there were good quilts and pillows in the closets. A block away is a western view of the open bay for glorious sunset watching.

Nicely renovated property

This property has been recently renovated and is an excellent house all the way around. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. We caught lots of crabs with the provided crab pot! Excellent location for a family. Very quiet neighborhood. Had Tropical Storm Isiasis come through and we felt safe the entire time. The back deck is where we pretty much spent the entire time. It’s so big. Going to the beach, we drove up to 94th street and parked in Acme parking lot. Very easy.
