This property was adequate. The house itself is in good repair and nice but the furnishings and outdoor spaces needed some work. Our children kept tripping on the uneven stone walkway down to the water and it would be extremely difficult to navigate with arthritis. The ladder on the dock only had 1 nut on it and was thus unusable. There were also a lot of exposed metal edges of the dock which was less desirable because you had to climb out on the sides. Game room was a suggestion and not really usable ping pong table broken and pool table unlevel. Also located above the main suite and only accesible from the putside. Not feasible to annex your teenagers into. Kitchen is large and well equipped. Oven is exteemely small to the pount the baking sheets at the house are too large for it without removing the rack. All of these things wouldn't necessarily be a deal breaker, but the location on the lake very close to a narrow part of the channel made the wake waves a real issue. I got seasick sitting on the dock and the little kids weren't able to get in the water because it was too rough on a cloudless windless day because of the boat traffic. Would book with this property company again but not this house or through VRBO again as the third party exempted us from cancellation and change policies.
