This was a very nice getaway. Home away from home. We were able to relax and enjoy each other without feeling like we were in someone else’s home. Shops were close by and the scenes were excellent. There was a problem with the toilet overflowing for the entire time. The TV in the downstairs bedroom didn’t work. We are pleased and will be coming back. We actually wanted to stay an extra night but it was already booked.Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your home.

It’s in a good location and cute, biggest complaints were the number of hornets that seemed to make their way inside somehow, cobwebs, dust and dirt. the kitchen is in bad shape but we didn’t use it.

Nice stay! Beautiful view from the balcony. Great customer service from Vacasa. However, we did have a small ant problem and various furniture were bit broken or stained. Expectations were fairly on par with the unit's cheap price. The bathtub has jets meant for a jacuzzi, however, the controller is broken.

Cozy unit that was perfect for us (a couple). Well equipped kitchen and a wonderful little deck overlooking the lake. A walk of just a few steps to an excellent pizzeria (Brenda’s), a coffee/sandwich shop and kayak/SUP rental shop. I think the hosts have upped their cleaning game since some of the prior reviews, because it was definitely clean. Quiet at night, comfortable bed. A/C struggled a bit too keep up but then it’s been extra warm this summer. Cute loft for a third person, though we didn’t use it. Check-in was smooth; we received the combination to the lock the evening prior to our arrival. We enjoyed our 5 night stay!

A lot to be desired

The property could have been cleaner. There were dead bugs in the windowsill and leftover soap residue in the tub from previous guests. The sheet on the pull out couch had also been left from a previous guest and had crumbs and stains on them. The rotating bar in the bottom of the dishwasher is detached and laying on its side, we didn’t even want to attempt to run it. There were the beginnings of three wasps nests in the storage container on the balcony, one of which had wasps in/on it. The view, which is the major selling point could hardly be enjoyed as the windows were very dirty and the blinds on the center window are broken and unable to be opened or rolled up. The unit also has an ant problem and we had to throw away a fresh box of donuts because they were covered in ants.

We stayed in the 6A condo last year and this one was even better. Omly complaint is that a lot of the plugs were loose and we couldn’t plug anything into them except a select few.

Not Bad But Not Great

The TV in the bedroom was not a smart TV and was only for watching DVDs. Had I known that, I would not have booked this property. Because of this, I ended up sleeping in the loft which had a working TV but was very uncomfortable. The heaters/air conditioners were noisy and the one in the living room was blowing heat out of the hose at the bottom but cool air from the top (I was trying to get the condo cooled down). That’s another reason I ended up in the loft because there was a ceiling fan up there. The noise from 219 is constant day and night. It seems the windows are not insulated allowing a lot of noise in. Especially the trash truck noise at 6:30 am. And to top off my visit, there was no hot water on my last night and morning of my stay. The management company was quick to contact me to reach a resolution. One other thing I noticed was the listing says there are two twin beds in the loft which there is only one. It didn’t matter to me but it might matter to a family who is interested in booking this unit. I also think the listing should note that after going up the stairs outside, there is another flight of stairs to climb to get to the condo. And lastly, the Christmas decorations should be taken down since it’s almost April.

Very clean, nice view of lake

Very clean, sanitized everything before I left . Vaccumed the carpets, washed the sheets, sanitized the chairs, Febreeze the sofa , dishes washed and trash has been taken out in the proper bins as labeled. Dusted the blinds , wet mopped and dry mopped the floors. Took my recycles home with me.

Superbowl Weekend

Nice getaway for the weekend. We gave 3 stars due to the outdated TV's in the space. The one in the master bedroom did not work, properly. Also, the Carbon Dioxide detector was just thrown where the pamphlets were.

ski trip

We came for a ski trip. Great location, close to restaurants and stores, nice view of lake although we didn't have access to the deck since it had not been shoveled. Stairs very slick, i would not recommend this rental for older guests. Cleanliness not up to my standards. Dusty, hair clumps in shower, food crumbs on beds. Definitely need to pay more attention to cleaning of this property. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Winter Vacation

The place had a perfect unobstructed view of the lake. The place was nice and warm for our winter trip. Comfortable furniture and bed for lounging around. The only complaint we had was when we arrived there was pee in the toilet and on the seat. The first thing we had to do was clean that ourselves not a fun start to the vacation. Overall though it was a good place and would recommend.

Wow, what a wonderful location and a fantastic property! It looks just as advertised. If you need transportation around make sure to use Deep Creek Shuttle as they were very convenient too!

WORST RENTAL WE HAVE EVER STAYED IN

The pictures and description and feedbacks are very deceptive. We only stayed one night out of four. When you arrive at the condo be prepared to walk up 30 steps to the inside of condo. Once inside you will be greeted with an old looking and smelly condo. The unit was built in 1990 and it looks like nothing much has ever been done with it. The furnishings are very old and uncomfortable. In the living room you must move the couch away from the door to the deck in order to get out. The three windows in the living room are filthy, one has a crack in glass and I could only open one for ventilation. There is a Roku tv that has no local channels. There are wires at the Pac-Man game that are very sloppy and hanging everywhere. There is only one portable AC unit. The kitchen is outdated and you can only open the fridge door a third of the way because it hits the steps that go upstairs. The bedroom is the size of a large walk-in closet. Bed is advertised as a queen size but was only a double. There is only about a foot on each side of the bed to the wall. Also had a portable air conditioning unit stored between the bed and the wall which was right next to your head. There is no closet to hang your clothes, only a small wall rack with 5 pegs in the hallway to hang your belongings. One of the smoke detectors was disconnected. The bathroom was just ridiculous. Looked like they installed two outdoor floodlights. The toilet seat was old and disgusting, light over sink is a joke.

Needs updating

We did not realize there were that many steps! It was very hard for us to carry everything in. The air conditioning is noisy. The kitchen was very well stocked . The lake view was nice.

Lake getaway

The lake area have lots of activities to pick and choose, we always enjoyed going to the lake and admiring the mountains view and water falls , we were lucky enough to encounter beautiful wildlife like a Bear 🐻 and and more , so overall is a great place to visit for a quiet paradise alway from home.

Great location and space!

We had a wonderful time! Great place for the price, awesome location and great view of the lake. I would recommend a shovel near the door for navigating the stairs to the unit during the winter.
