Wonderful property right on the beach, private access. Best part is the screened in porch facing the beach. Had a great time and will likely return!

We go to the beach not to shop and eat out all the time....we enjoy the sand and surf and thats what you get. The house is clean and the beds comfortable. Nice and cold central air.

We had a wonderful time at this property. We particularly enjoyed being right on the beach, having both a screened-in porch and an outside deck, and that they take dogs. We hope to return soon.

Excellent location. Easy to communicate with rental company for the few questions we had. Plenty of room for 4 adults, a baby and a dog - we didn’t even use one bed room.

We had a fantastic week staying at "Runnin' Down a Dream"! The house was perfect and couldn't have been in a better location. It was clean, and check in/check out was a breeze. We had one maintenance issue while we were there and they had a team out quickly to get it repaired. Would 100% recommend staying here!

We loved it here. The house was older but very updated. The screened in porch was my fav. Our thermostat went out 2nd day at 10:30 pm and S&S was there in 30 min with portables. Much appreciated for this power surging mama, lol. We lost our 16 1/2 yro furbaby in June so we got to spread his ashes at the beach. He loved the beach. So thankful for those who welcome furbabies. If you don’t, we don’t come. We are family! Overall we loved it. I ask the question before we secured it if we could set the temp to what we liked and was told yes. We set our thermostat at 68 year round but noticed the temp at the house would change at certain times. Pretty sure the home owners were changing via wifi. That wasn’t cool to me since we paid $5700 for the week, but with the portables we were very comfortable 💜 We would definitely come back and recommend this quiet getaway to those who need to relax! PS. Bought my husband a beach cart and he definitely loved the surf fishing. I just hate the turtle nest did not hatch while we were there. We checked day and night.

We had a great time at the beach! We really appreciated that we were able to bring our fur babies with us. The screened porch was so nice and we lucked out with a tide pool that made playing in the ocean much safer for our 4 and 6 year old family members. And what a nice surprise to find a bottle of wine as a welcome gift. We didn’t want to go home!

Lovely, pet friendly, oceanfront property. We were fortunate to have great weather, beautiful sunsets, and fantastic views of the full moon. My only regret is that our stay was too short. We hope to stay here again.

We experienced a pleasant stay with a beach that was dog friendly and not over crowed. The location was not close to a populated area so it was very peaceful. We enjoyed our beach vacation and was able to relax on the screened in porch and on the deck below. Really liked the beach access and the water spout on our deck that allowed clean up without bringing the beach with us into the rental.

We had a wonderful week staying in this beach house. We loved the direct beach access to beautiful Caswell Beach. The beach is not busy at this location. The house is perfect for the amount of people who are permitted to stay. The property managers were very friendly and Robert gave quick and friendly responses during the booking phase. I would definitely recommend this property and this location on the beach.

We’ve visited the Brunswick Islands many times but never went to Oak Island. We donated my fathers WWII diary to the USS North Carolina and found this gem. The view is everything! In quiet location and we had an amazing time. The daily texts from them was a very nice gesture. Highly recommend

This property is in a great location, right on the beach in a minimal traffic area. A short drive to stores and restaurants, it was a perfect spot! The house was pretty clean and the kitchen had plenty of cookware and utensils. Loved the porch, and the hose/shower on the beach path was super convenient. Overall a great stay here!

The outdoor space was great and we really enjoyed spending as much time as we could outside with the beautiful view of the beach. The communication with the property manager was great and they even left us a little gift that we found upon our arrival!

We had the best time at Runnin’ Down a Dream. The house was perfect! It was so clean and well decorated. The view was beautiful and we loved hanging out on the screened in porch and deck. It’s just steps away from the beach so we enjoyed the easy access to the beach.
