Nice clean place with a good pool. My one suggestion would be to add a picnic table and small fridge near the pool. The golf cart was really convenient.

Spring Break

Great location , quiet and clean accommodations and the pool out back was perfect and such a nice addition to the property. Great place to kick back and relax for a week with kids and close enough to town for anything you need. Golf cart was awesome to get to and from the beach. Awesome hosts that were quick to respond to needs and small issues. Highly recommend

Would definitely stay again

The house was clean and nicely decorated for Christmas. Kids loved the bunk beds and the golf cart was nice for exploring. We go to OKI every Christmas and we would definitely stay again. The location was perfect for us as we had family close by so it was nice to hop on the golf cart and go visit.Best rental we have found so far.

23th wedding anniversary

My family and I had a wonderful time. No issues to report. The weather was great, the house was clean and there was no lack of amenities. Oak Island is truly a treasure and we’ll definitely look at Ruff Tide again in the future.

Great place

Our family had a wonderful time at Ruff Tide. The pool was so refreshing and we spent a lot of our time there. The property manager was very accommodating. The six seater golf cart was not going to be available so he found us another one to rent and then reimbursed us. This was definitely a great place.

Wonderful place to stay

We had a wonderful stay for a few days over New Year's and Ruff Tide was everything we hoped it would be. The West End of Oak Island is great as well, it's nice to be in a quiet area.

Great stay!

Our family enjoyed our stay! The house is located in a quiet area of the island. We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the home. The addition of a golf cart helps with transportation around the island, especially to the beach. We plan to stay again soon, maybe in the warmer weather so we can use the pool!

Home Away From Home!!!

Starting with the check in process it was a breeze! The property manager answered the phone on the 2nd ring I think I was more in SHOCK than anything!! He was pleasant and answered any questions I had. James was a LIFE-SAVER!!! After 15 hours on the road we just wanted to relax. The house was AS DESCRIBED (NICE LAYOUT) we were pleasantly surprised with a greetings bag full of things. The stores weren't too far and the beach was RIGHT down the road! After you get past the stairs you will be good. The areas to sit outside were all BEAUTIFUL! THANKS FOR HOSTING MY CREW & I!

Great Stay! Would book again!

My family and I enjoyed this home it had all the amenities needed and then some. The pool was awesome and our family really enjoyed it. The 6 person golf cart was an added bonus and made our trips to the beach easy and convenient. The set up with the outdoor television and seating was also nice. The management was very responsive to any questions or needs. We would gladly rebook again the next time we are in Oak Island.

Beautiful vacation home

Our vacation home was beautiful. It was nice and clean. We loved the pool. It was so refreshing at the end of the day. The outside porch overlooking the pool was the best. I sat out there in the evenings. We watched the squirrels jumping from tree to tree. Also lots of woodpeckers it was at a perfect location. We took the golf cart to the beach. Also to a lot of the shops and ice cream shops. It was so easy to get around, instead of driving our van everywhere. This was our first time at oak island. We will most likely come back again. Thank you for allowing us to spend our family vacation in your beautiful beach house

Great vacay

My family and I truly enjoyed this RuffTide house. It had everything we needed for a family of teens and adults. Def had the space to sleep and get away to relax. The pool was really cold and had a ton of leaves in it but we still had a great time.

Perfect for a family

Booking and check-in was smooth and our first impression was a thrill! The house was new, clean, and modern. It had everything we needed, and the Publix is only a few miles down the main road. There were a few minor things not exactly as expected, but it was a quiet and perfect spot for a Thanksgiving family retreat.

Clean new home

Home was very clean and new. Property manager was prompt in answering our questions. location was a bit further than we would have liked, but not terrible. It took about 9 minutes via golf cart to get to the beach. kitchen was well stocked, but if you are coming bring your own containers for leftovers. we also brought our own large steam pot for a shrimp boil. closest grocery stores are Lowes and Publix, both are very nice. beach was nice. overall we had a nice stay.
