  • Po Buoy es una casa de playa de Carolina, acogedora, limpia y clásica.     Súper linda casa de campo de un nivel frente a la playa con capacidad para 7 personas. Oceanfront MBR tiene cama queen y FBA, 2nd BR tiene cama queen y 3rd BR tiene cama queen y dos camas individuales. Incluye 3 televisores de pantalla plana con cable / ROKU, reproductor de DVD, Wi-Fi de alta velocidad gratis, teléfono de casa, juegos de mesa, libros, DVD, W / D, HVAC, D / W, una cocina totalmente equipada y ventiladores de techo en todo. Suministros básicos de limpieza, lavandería y detergente para platos, ropa de cama y toallas de baño siempre.

Perfect getaway!

The house was very clean and a nice place to stay. It was perfect for what we needed. Loved the screened in porch area on the deck, especially since it rained one day during our stay. I look forward to staying there again :)

Fun times with family

First time guests and we had a great week, spending time with family. Enjoyed the house accommodations and being just a step away from the beach. Lots of good seafood restaurants around. We hope we can return next summer .

Perfect beach cottage

My friends and I (3) wanted to investigate Oak Island and the surrounding area. Being right on the beach was pure heaven. The beach is lovely. The cottage is nicely situated on the Island. Southport is a n easy drive. The house was clean and the kitchen was well enough appointed for our arrival with everything we needed. The beds are very comfortable.

Great Beach Cottage

We had a fantastic time at Oak Island in this cozy cottage. The kitchen is nicely equipped. Beds were super comfy. Appreciated the streaming TVs in the rooms. We enjoyed the screened covered porch and large deck. Beach access was just a couple houses away on either side, accessible from the back yard. Unfortunately, the new dunes are quite high and now block much of the ocean view from the deck. The location was excellent. We had a wonderful week here and would recommend it highly.

Great Beach Vacation!

The house was very clean at check in and the owner had everything very well organized. Most beach houses I feel I have to clean when I get there but not this one. Just settled in and started relaxing. Cozy house with great view of the beach. Money well spent. everything in the house worked as it should AND weather was great!

So close to the ocean!

This property is my favorite beach house so far. The proximity to the beach was an important factor in making my decision. This is on the beach. The access across the dunes is nearby. The details and pictures in the listing are an accurate representation of the interior. We cooked some of our meals and this kitchen had everything we needed. Linens are not provided but it was not a problem to bring our own. There was a storm while we were there that knocked out the internet but the owner kept us updated on the status as he received info. Communication was great before and during our trip. We had a fantastic vacation and I recommend this property.

Relaxing Getaway

Cozy, immaculately clean property at a perfect location! Could not have asked for more. We had a wonderful time at Po' Buoy! Steps from the gorgeous, wide beach and a short distance from fine dining, grocery stores and souvenir shopping! ❤️😍👍

Clean, comfortable and convenient!

My wife and our two toddlers loved this house. There was plenty of room for all of us, the house was clean and well maintained, best of all is the view and how close to the beach access the house was. We had a fantastic vacation!

Perfect Getaway

We enjoyed our stay very much! We had a quick getaway for our anniversary and this was the perfect place to do so. Ocean front, easy beach access, clean, and full kitchen. Had everything we needed! We will be back again

WARNING: NIGHTMARE!

We checked in 5/2 after 4pm, as specifically instructed by the homeowner in a message about a photographer scheduled to be there to take pictures. There was a construction crew a few houses down to the left when we arrived. We went for a walk on the beach down to the pier, and by 8pm when we returned, the construction crew had made their way DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THIS RENTAL!!! They had at least 5 pieces of heavy machinery digging, grinding, beeping, with blinding floodlights, causing the house to vibrate/sway NONSTOP, 24 HOURS A DAY! I got about 4 hours of sleep the first night and only 3 hours the second night. I called VRBO at 4am Tuesday morning to see what our options were. I messaged the owner multiple times. He was apologetic and said he found out about the construction extension on 4/30, but yet he didn't not contact us to inform us of the potential construction and give us the option of canceling. He did put the house up for sale and arrange a photographer to come out on Sunday to take pictures before the entire beach in front of the listing was dug up into two huge five foot deep trenches of black sludge so his actions imply he was aware of the potential impending construction negatively affecting his property. The public access to the beach 4 houses down as described in the listing is was closed as of Monday morning. We had to load up the kids and gear to DRIVE to the beach from our "oceanfront" rental. We could have literally stayed anywhere else and done that. The racket of the construction made the screened in porch unusable. They even worked through a lightning storm Monday evening! The owner has refunded 50% of the per day fee, which is unacceptable. I believe he had a duty to inform potential renters. We had 4 hours of peace and quiet Sunday evening before our vacation was ruined. With a migraine coming on, we packed up and left a day early. We're out days off from work and a twelve hours roundtrip commute, and gas money, so I certainly don't see why I should have to pay 50% for only 4 hours. If you've booked this listing for the next week or two, if not longer, you might want to contact VRBO now to see what your options are. Apparently their "guarantee" doesn't apply to refunds if the property is unliveable, only to move you to another rental if the property is materially different from the listing. Now, I have the hassle of contacting my credit card company to dispute the charges. VRBO can't force the homeowners to issue refunds

Just don’t do laundry

This was a great place! We loved the location as the beach was not overly populated and the area in general was not commercial. Perfect getaway for an essential worker that finally got to take time off work. If you like to air dry your clothes this is really the place for you as the dryer doesn’t really dry so much as it just tumbled and blows air.

Annual tradition

The whole family loves our annual week right on the perfect beaches of Oak Island in a great little place. The property is well maintained with very comfortable beds and everything you need. I’ve already reserved a week for next year.

Exactly what we needed!

The Po Buoy was exactly as advertised and just what we were looking for in a beach house rental for our family of 4. Check-in was a breeze, we had zero issues with TVs/WiFi, etc. The screened-in porch & adjoining deck both have a glorious view of the ocean and provided the adults a perfect place to relax while still able to watch the kids out on the beach. Allen is a very responsive owner, and he replied immediately & thoroughly to the tiny maintenance issue we mentioned. This was our family's first visit to Oak Island, but I hope it won't be the last. I highly recommend renting from Allen if you're going to be in the area.

Great place on the beach!

This cottage was perfect for my family's spring break getaway! The cottage was very clean, kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, pans, and utensils. The location could not have been better. Due to the dunes in place after last year's storm, it was a short walk down to the public access. Even with three small children it was no problem at all and less than five minutes from house to playing in the sand. The ocean view was still perfect from the cottage and deck- we saw dolphins and even a whale during our stay. The Publix in Oak Island is just over a mile away and had everything we needed. The host, Allen, was responsive and replied right away to any messages. We would definitely stay again!

Delightful little beach house!

Po Buoy is an adorable little beach house. We totally enjoyed our stay! It was very clean and comfortable. All our needs were more than adequately met. In fact the bed was so comfortable, we ordered one for ourselves! Allen was readily available to answer any questions and make reccommendations. We would love to return!

Perfect Beach Getaway

Perfect space for our family of four to getaway, with the beach just a few steps away from the porch! The secluded feeling of the cottage and beach, with tons of choices in restaurants and stores just minutes away, made this a wonderful location. The house was newly updated, clean, and had all the amenities we needed and more! The sunset view was spectacular as well, we will definitely be back!

Great Beach home vacation
