Our family looks forward to visiting OKI every year, and this year was everything we hoped it’d be and more. When vacationing with littles, you’re ready to leave, but not this year. Jennifer was the perfect hostess and has her house ready to come in and just relax. This house is laid out perfectly for families with children because the master and master bath is on one side of the house and the kids on the other. The house is well stocked and made to feel like a “home” rather than a rental. Our family has used VRBO many times and haven’t yet found the perfect house to return to year after year, but this one fits all the check boxes. Until next year OKI ❤️

This is one of the best VRBO experiences I have encountered and we have stayed at over 15 properties. The house was perfect for our group and we would all hands down stay there again. Very very clean, comfortable, well stocked and beautifully decorated. Super high quality and our VRBO Host Jennifer was awesome. Thank you Jennifer!

This is our second stay at the Naked Bean and it’s our favorite place to stay it was just as advertised and very well stocked and clean.

Brother/sister weekend for us retired folks. House was just as advertised, clean, well appointed kitchen, nice details in the house. But let me tell you about the back screened in porch! Turn on the lighting and let the memories flow. The talking and laughing comes so easy. Excellent stay and would rent again if ever in the area.

Everything was excellent. Kitchen well supplied and laundry well supplied. Many games and puzzles to help us on a rainy afternoon. Had so many "extra's" in bathrooms of things you might have forgotten to bring. Plenty of pots, pans, cookware etc in the kitchen. We were so blessed to have this time with our family and making great memories! Thank you Jennifer for always responding to any questions we had! You are a terrific "Host". We would book again!

My family and I can't say enough about our stay. The check-in process was simple and easy. When we arrived at the house found it exactly as it was listed on the website. There was plenty of space for the four of us (2 adults/2 teens) to unwind and relax. The beach and other attractions were just a short drive or walk away. The kitchen allowed plenty of space to prepare and cook most of our meals while we were in town. Each of us took some time to enjoy the outdoor bed on the back porch too. If you are looking for a place to stay on Oak Island, this is the one!

This cottage is just as charming in person as online. Owner left us a small bag of custom blend coffee which we brewed and drank on our first morning. Enjoyed eating dinner on the screened porch. Well-equipped kitchen and bathroom supplies. Would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Naked Bean. It was clean, beautiful, and comfortable.

From the moment we booked this home to the time we left everything was perfect! The owner is so nice and easy to communicate with. Check-in was easy since there was an electronic door lock. Best part, no keys to keep track of. The home is super clean and decorated to perfection. Like a five star resort. Took a video just so I could remember how cute everything was. The welcome parrot was above and beyond fun. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. There was even everything you would need for a fun day at the beach. No need to bring anything to this rental but your fun loving self! There are lots of great places to eat on the island as well as in the picturesque town of Southport. Don’t miss the boil on Wednesday's at the Turtle and pizza at pepperoni grill. We will definitely be back and want to bring our grand kids out so they can experience the “island”. Can’t wait to come back and spend more time at your home Jennifer!

This house was absolutely beautiful inside. I loved the décor, and you can tell that Jenn takes pride in her rental. We enjoyed the back porch, including the amazing swing! We do not normally go on vacation to play games but we played games and put together puzzles both nights we were at the house. It was great bonding time with our family! The closet is FULL of different games and puzzles, more than I have ever seen a house offer! Jenn was helpful and quick to respond to any request that I had! She even goes as far as to provide coffee, sugar and creamer, which was enjoyed by my coffee loving family! Not only that but I can't rave enough about the beds! They were SO comfortable! The house was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed our time here and our time in Jenn's home, and we hope to come back in the future.

This was a girls weekend get away. The house is absolutely gorgeous. We all loved the decorating. Naked Bean coffee, great shampoo, cotton sheets and towels, Netflix, the swingbed and table and chairs on the back porch, the welcome parrot all details that was added to making you feel pampered and special. You will hate you have to leave.
