"Beautiful pastoral, location, self service (no staff or registration), comfortable beds, very clean room and bathroom. Nice gathering space with coffee/tea available. We did experience quite a bit of noise from the guests (who arrived after midnight) directly above us and since we were the only two rooms (8 suites total available) I’m not sure why they had us together and not separated. Both the bathroom and closet doors did not fully close without slamming them forcefully."

"Wonderful stay"

"Wonderful place! Clean, quiet, and peaceful."

"We stayed in the Queen Anne room and I was a little worried because it is right by the front door. But I never heard any one coming and going. The room was large and lovely. The bed was comfy. The TV was nice and big, the bathroom was also large and roomy. We chose the Queen Anne room because it had a washer and dryer and we have been traveling for 3 weeks so it was convenient for us to catch up on laundry. The community areas were also lovely. There were a few snacks and the best gelato...

"Staying at the Berkeley was amazing. Beautiful grounds, neat to have the Frederick suite. Almost too big for 1, but I sure felt at ease and relaxed. A much needed "me time." The gelato ice cream was a plus and everything was in walking distance: especially to the Chop House for dinner. My daughter even met me there who goes to JMU. Great getaway and close enough to JMU to see and plan events around that area. Would come back in a heartbeat ."

"Spacious, clean, a mix of historical and model tones"
