Not worth it

I love the location of the property but i was not satisfied with property. I was missing a matteress for my sister for the sleeper sofa, so she slept in the recliner chair. It was dirty and my 16th month son found dirty knives in the couch. None of the TVs worked and one was clearly ripped off the wall, so i contacted the property and they did address that issue but that was about it. It was supposed to be non-smoking; however, the place smelled of weed and cigarettes. Parking is limited and i paid extra and still couldnt park, therefore, i had to leave early. This place was not as advertised.

Very dirty!

Property is awful! Roaches were everywhere. Tv, fridge, and dishwasher were broke. Entire place was very dirty. We stayed 5 minutes and left.

Wonderful place to stay

This rental property was in a great place. We will be back next year or sooner. It took 2 nights without a Living room tv, but it got taken care of. And some confusion with the day of departure, but all was worked out.

Was good for the price with being able to bring my large dog. Refrigerator was dirty on the inside but everything else was as expected and clean. Walls are pretty thin, could hear the people upstairs walking around and someone let their dog just bark non-stop for periods of time. Luckily we were out a lot so wasn't a real big deal.

The place was dirty inside and out, we came almost a week after the hurricane the outside had debris everywhere and I had to sweep off the porch and driveway the washer and dryer doesn’t work properly the mattresses were horrible.

Was told unit not available but they still accepted the reservation and payment without refund!

Myrtle beach vacay reps on phone were nice but all rooms offered are run down told dirty and made to appear clean and nicer on the pictures. The rental I reserved was never even utilized because property manager said it wasn’t available when I called yet Vrbo still had it booked and the payment was still sent to myrtle beach vacation properties. I never lived in this rental yet I didn’t get a refund despite the circumstances. Don’t rent here.

Nice place to stay

Over all nice place to stay.. Need more mirrors there is only one in the whole place.. My only complant was parking.. You only get one spot and if you need another you have to pay for it.. Well at 11:00 at night it became a problem and there was no one to call until office opened.. I payed to get 2 spots and others did not and was still taking our parking places.. They need to tell people up front how many they get.. There are 4 houses and only 6 spots.. So not everyone can even buy more spots..

Dirty

Base boards were filthy with dog hair and dust - ceiling fans were disgusting - washing machine rubber was black with mold, had black hair all over it and smelled horrible. No vacuum or mop provided. Around floor edges were black and filthy. Location and air conditioning is about all that was good.

Just a few improvements

The biggest thing we noticed is the apartment needs more mirrors. One in each bedroom at least. We had 4 girls at one time in the one bathroom trying to get ready for dinner. That would be our biggest suggestion. The screen on the front door was coming off but an easy fix and the door lock messed up a couple of times. It sounded like it locked but when we check it it was still unlocked. Had to put the code in 2 or 3 times for it to take, but that only happened twice. We had a very enjoyable time there.

good condition with a few things needing attention.

Unit was overall good with a few minor repairs needed. TV in the bedroom had lines in the screen on right side were pixals were going bad. Cabinet door over frig had loose hinges. Building and individual units were not market very well, no unit numbers on doors. All in all Unit was good. Bought two linen packages for a three night stay and was only provided one towel and one wash cloth per person for three day stay. Would have expected at least one towel and washcloth per day. all in all , minor things and for the price would probably rent again.

Great location!!!! Could use some cleaning!!

I loved the location of the home. We walked over to the beach and there was a park we walked to that my four year old really enjoyed. There was just one problem, the cleanliness. The entire floor was tile which is awesome being at the sandy beach. That is until you notice the bottom of your clean white socks are black from walking on the floor an hour after you arrive. I tried sweeping and the broom barely swept across the floor. It was sticking to the floor because of the grim. With it being a tile floor it wasn’t really visible but it quickly became obvious that the floor had not been mopped in a very long time. The window had smudge all over it from a dog putting there nose there. I understand it was a pet friendly place but clean the window. No one wants to look out the living room window at that. And in the bedroom and a few other places the walls were just dirty. Grim and dirty handprints left on the walls. The place just needs a good scrub down! When you notice these things you begin to feel dirty and that takes away from your wonderful vacation experience. If the place was properly cleaned I would recommend someone stay there. It was really nice to be straight across from Barefoot Landing with the activities and food so close by as well.

Relaxing

Very clean, comfortable and inviting. (Could use a mattress undate thought). Enjoyable short walk to the beach or even shorter drive. Reserved parking at the condo. Free convenient parking at the beach with easy step or ramp access, super clean bathroom facilities, and showers for rinsing the sand off after fishing, swimming or shell collecting. Every question or request was immediately responded to by Lisa. She was always available and happy to help. We will keep in touch when planning our next trip. Thank you for being there
