We love Spring Towers and have been going to it for over 20 years. We were just a little disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. We did not leave a tip because we left it cleaner then when we arrived. The premier bathroom only had one good light blub out of 4. My husband took one out of the other bathroom so we could see. The water and ice maker did not work in the refrigerator.

Overall Good Experience

At first arrival it was a little annoying to have to go to a whole other location to get a key (definitely recommend upgrading to keyless option). When we first got to the site the elevator smelled like someone had been smoking pot in it and it continued to smell like that most of our stay. Not sure if it was an employee or someone staying there. So that was a liitle worrisome as I am there with my 3 children. When we did get to our room it was decent size and it definitely smelled clean which is a huge plus. I would say it definitely needed some updates. The washing machine has black mold on the seal (I tried to clean it but I didn't have anything strong enough), the refrigerator ice and water didnt work, a keurig coffee maker would have been nice. Bedding could use some updates too the scratchy comforters need to go. These are just some suggestions I don't mean to be negative. Overall the room is nice and it was suitable for our family. Just those few upgrades would have made a huge difference during our stay. We did overall love our stay and the pool area was very nice and beach access was amazing (a ramp at the end would be a plus if the facility every chose to update that).

Great Location, Not-so-great Management

The location is hands-down the only reason we would return to this particular spot. We thought renting from a property management company would be a better experience, if we needed anything, but boy were we wrong. Both times we needed them, we were stuck with an answering service and left a message. They finally called back later the next business day. Hope you don't have any true emergencies on a night or weekend, as we did have one and it was not handled timely. For starters, we arrived to find a semi-clean condo (sand still all over the floors and the place desperately needed a good once over). There is so much dust on everything that it looks like the cleaning crew just changes the sheets/towels and wipes down the main surfaces. There were fruit flies (aka drain flies) flying all over throughout the week and getting into our food while we were cooking - gross! They were so bad that they found their way into a sealed bread bag. We tried to run the provided vacuum, so we could get up the sand and attempt to walk barefoot. The vacuum smelled like something died in it only making matters worse. Property management did provide us with a new vacuum mid-week. The kitchen cabinets are so cluttered - pots and dishes are just thrown in the cabinets wherever they will fit. It was hard to find anything, but there are a lot of supplies. There were 5 wine keys and a lemon squeezer, but no rubber spatula or whisk. So, we bought those items and left them for the next guest. The dishes are mostly cracked or chipped, so be careful. The ice maker does not work, so no filtered water dispenser either. There were barely enough towels for all of the guests and not enough washcloths for everyone (8 towels, 6 washcloths). There were spare pillows, but no extra pillow cases. The pillows that are there are super flat, so bring your own if you can. The pool and beach access were great. The public space well maintained. There are loading zones and carts to help get your luggage up to your condo. Bonus, the majority of the parking is in the shade.

Myrtle Beach wedding

The selling point for us was the 2 King beds to accommodate our guest. Communication with Carolina Realty was instant upon booking and consistent up to our time of arrival, even a reminder that "today's the day we atay!".

Great time at Spring Towers

We enjoyed the location being walking distance to store, restaurants, and ICE CREAM . Next door has a DJ on Wednesday for 2 hrs, so we got to chair dance on the beach to great music. Bar on beach next door had great food and adult beverages. Easy beach access from elevator. Enjoyed our stay. Too short! Wished bedding was more coastal than tropical, but that's my personal taste. Views were great. I would rent this unit again.

Not all what’s in the ad!

Advertising as 4 TVs. Two bedrooms TVs not even hooked up. No WiFi. Called Sunday. No return call. Had to wash the sheets when we arrived. Hair and a bug(not a bed bug) on sheets. Super sandy. Were they washed? Living room couches dirty, old and about fall to the floor sitting on them. Kitchen counters had crumbs. Shower door falling off. Husband fixed that. Great view. Not worth the money. Sliding glass door extremely hard to open. One of the 4 plastic outdoor chairs was broken. Goodluck!

Needs a Good Cleaning

Floors were very dirty - esp under couches, bathroom showers and floors had hair from previous tenants all over, grout throughout condo was black from not being cleaned when it was clearly grey around the baseboards, kitchen was not stocked for cooking had to buy pans and can opener, sheets did not fit beds and kept coming off throughout the night - really annoying to wake up and find yourself laying directly on the dirty mattress, chairs on balcony are way too low for adults to comfortably sit in - more like child seats - made the balcony area uncomfortable, condo sleeps 8 and we only got 5 or 6 towels to share among us and they were baby towels a little larger than hand towels and so thin you could see right through them, daughter got bit from something (bed bugs maybe?) in the spare room with the two queen beds - after switching to sleeping on a couch the bites stopped, curtains are thin in the double queen room and let's in tons of light so if you are trying to sleep in it is impossible, room with the king size bed is next to the adjacent condo and we could hear people talking, laughing, and yelling all night through the walls, pool is not secure and tons of "locals" were using it and bragging that they can just walk right in from the beach, our shoes were stolen from the beach when we went into the water, freezer never froze our mixed drinks - only partially frozen after 5 days, pillows offered for use were flatter than a pancake. We had a note saying to call if things were not satisfactory or clean and I did not do that. What? I was going to call someone each and every single time we found something dirty or unsatisfactory? No. I just walked down to the store and bought cleaning supplies and cleaned as good as I could myself. I wasn't trying to complain but after a week and things kept adding up this was not a good place to stay. We rented through VRBO and was not notified we would need to go to an entirely different location to check-in and pick up our keys. We drove around for an hour trying to find the place after emailing them (never had a phone number for them either) and asking for the address numerous times and no one helped us. On the positive side this condo is within close proximity to the grocery store but people will push their carts over here and leave them in the walkways and elevators which isn't good. The washer is a small washer and does not hold a full load. We were not aware of this either.
