We loved having the entire floor to ourselves! Check-in/out was incredibly easy and we didn't have to go to a separate location to get keys/parking passes (making it so much more convenient). We are looking forward to staying here again in the future!

First of all check in was a breeze. Ample parking covered and uncovered areas( small spaces in the covered due to support walls). Easy to get keys and parking passes from the mailbox. Key access to 10 the 10 th floor— very secure and an generous foyer to leave beach items and shoes. Very spacious and open concept layout with plenty of space for the entire family. The kids lived having the cable tv in their room ( twin beds); the main tv was a smart tv with use of your own apps. Free WiFi with password easily noted in the living area. The views were spectacular and we appreciated the heavy sliding glass door to the patio( the 9 and 5 year could not easily open it so we always knew when they were trying to go outside. Comfortable beds. Nice bathrooms but a little dated. Bring your own paper products as they are not provided. Nice to have hair dryers and double sinks. There was a short walk to the beach on sand— however it was not easily accessible with s wagon ( stairs). The pool was just the right size— not much of a shallow end but our kiddos are good swimmers so it was not much of an issue. There were 2 maintenance staff there every day so the areas were sll clean and well kept

This property is very spacious and has a great layout. The outdoor space is very large and has a great view. The beds were comfortable. It is in need of updates and cosmetic fixes both indoors and outdoors. There are extra pillows but not blankets. Outdoor painting finished while we were there and we had workers and lots of materials on our deck during our stay, including lots of paint chips everywhere. Bring basics like all paper products, dish soap, trash bags etc. We had a fun time and did rent umbrellas and chairs for our entire stay. The pool was nice and landscaping was pretty.

Our 3rd time staying here.

The Rooftop Penthouse has always been my happy place. This time around, however, was a little different. We were not told they would be doing exterior work the entire week of our stay until we arrived and found half the parking lot closed off with trash dumpsters and work vehicles. We had very little privacy on the large balcony we always enjoy so much. The sunset view from the bedroom with the queen bed was blocked with the workers equipment. We felt we had to keep the curtains closed most of the time. You could not walk barefoot on the balcony because of all the paint chips on the floor. I ended up using the sweeper to clean up as many paint chips as I could. The 3 support slats under the king bed in the master bedroom were broken causing a large dip all the way down the center of the bed. We tried to sleep on it as is. After the 2nd night, we had stiff necks and sore backs. I called Marshall, the owner, who is always attentive and available. He had us rig up the bed for the rest of the week to get us through, until he could replace it. We piled encyclopedias under all 3 support beams which helped immensely. I wish we would have done it sooner! The toilet in the master bath quit flushing on day 3. Marshall had a plumber in there the same day and got it fixed. Even though this time around wasn't as nice, I would still stay here again, and recommend the RTPH to others.

Perfect Location

Thanksgiving getaway for 5

This property beautiful, it is large and had enough room for all of us to have time alone but also enjoy family time. They were painting the building so we weren't able to use the patio as much as planned but it was a great location with a beautiful view and close to everything

Off season vacation

Stayed 14 days. The penthouse has amazing views. Beach was not crowded this time of year. Plenty of space for family visiting for a few days. Great walkable neighborhood. Kitchen was well equipped with appliances, dishes, utensils, pots pans. There was a fresh towel and wash cloth on each bed upon arrival. Space was clean. Decor is a bit outdated but still clean and usable. Nice TV above fireplace. Building update project during our stay was noisy but the workers did their best To clean up at the end of the day. Marshall was amazing! Answering any communications and addressing quickly! I definitely look forward to my next stay!

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

The Good: great location, fantastic view, close to the water and plenty of room. The Bad: mold on the shower faucet handle and in the exterior fountain. No soap of any kind furnished. No hand or dishwashing soap. One trash bag only. The Ugly: No paper products of any kind. Want to blow your nose? No Kleenex. Paper towels? No. How about the basic? Toilet paper? three rolls that had about a dozen sheets left. Any low budget hotel at least has toilet paper. Finally, they should have a handy man come in for a week to fix loose handles on shower doors, put bulbs in lamps, and give the place a good deep cleaning. In the listing the owner should make people aware that they need to bring these items.
