Disappointing

Upon entering the condo, it smelled lovely and looked beautiful. But once we settled in we noticed the floors were filthy. Our bare feet and socks were midnight black. We brought groceries for the week for a family of 8. We had planned other activities and wanted to save on food. The following morning however, the fridge was not cold. I contacted the host and housekeeping was sent to clean the floors but a fridge could not be delivered until Wednesday. Housekeeping came and cleaned but stated a deep steam clean was needed. The floors remained filthy and our feet and socks were unchanged. The fridge was not delivered until Thursday morning the day before check out. We incurred tremendous expense eating out as a family of 8 and were not able to take part in any planned activities. Because we didn’t have receipts for groceries we estimated at 676, we were reimbursed 200, basically nothing to feed a family of 8 for a week. Also a used, dirty fridge with mold was delivered. What a nightmare of a stay! This was the first trip to the beach for several and it was quite disappointing. I would not recommend.

Wonderful unit

This unit has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing vacation. Kitchen as everything you would need to make meals if you choose that route. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Plenty of seating to accommodate everyone. Will definitely book again.

Perfect Location for Family Getaway!

This is the perfect spot for a beach getaway! Located right on the beach with a pool and easy access to the beach. The condo staff are wonderful. Beach is family friendly. The condo is beautiful and clean and the rental company was super easy to work with during our stay! We will definitely be coming back!

Myrtle Beach oceanfront!!

Would definitely recommend this condo, we were 3 couples and 2 singles, the bedrooms/beds were a perfect fit. The condo had plenty of room for us to hang out in the living/dining area. We cooked in for breakfast and dinner. The kitchen was very well stocked and the dining table fit our group perfectly. The check in email is very detailed with what is supplied and what is not, We shopped at Food Lion which was literally straight up the road on route 17. Beautiful view from deck, plenty of chairs to catch the sunrise! The pool & beach area, can't be better! Communication/questions with host/management were quickly answered. We were all very pleased with our stay!

Friends Vacation

Group of 6 adult friends went & loved the property, very spacious and well equipped with everything needed to enjoy our stay. At this time of year (last week of Sept-first week of Oct) the beach and the little shops and cafes around the property were very quiet with very little activity. This was OK for us as we went for relaxation and friend time. The pools were a tad bit chilly and we found the ocean to be warmer!!! Looking to the future and finding a deal for an entire month to stay. Myrtle Beach has become a favorite of ours!!!!

Great stay!

We enjoyed the condo! The rooms were spacious, well designed, and the beach decor was well thought out! So pretty. The parking across the street garage had us concerned..but in all honesty..there is so little traffic, it felt extremely safe. The pool and ocean were just steps away. Very clean. Great location for families and fun.

Family Reunion

Overall the stay was great and the property was just as listed. The bathrooms could use a bit of an upgrade (especially the bathtubs), and it smelled like there was some sort of a plumbing issue anytime we flushed the toilet. But all in all, this was a great place to stay right on the beach and near barefoot landing where we had most of our gatherings for the family reunion we were in town for. Communication with the property management was… slow, but they did get my issue taken care of before I needed to check in, so it all worked out. All in all, it was a great stay!

Good location but dated interior

The beach and proximity to the beach and pool is awesome. The balcony is great. The pictures must have been taken a while ago, because the interior has much more wear and tear than I appreciated when booking the condo. The kitchen countertops are very worn and one of the bathrooms is particularly outdated and needs to be redone. I reported some cleaning (toothpaste smeared on bathroom wall and shower curtain, laundry area dirty with someone’s clothes/swim trunks on the floor, floors not clean) and maintenance issues (toilet not flushing well, bed frame piece fell off in middle of the night, sink not draining well), which were promptly attended to first thing the next morning. I received the welcome email with message that beach towels, soap, and toilet paper are not provided, but unfortunately only three days before our stay we were already en route. On arrival there were a three rolls of toilet paper, tiny bottle of liquid dish soap, sponge, roll of paper towels, two koozies, and two (or three) trash bags provided. With few cleaning supplies and no dishwashing detergent provided we were unsure how clean any of the dishes may be from previous use, so opted to eat out for all of our meals rather than stock up and spend our vacation cleaning. Plenty of parking in the garage across the street.

Beach access, partly shaded pool is nice for those not wanting sun. Condo was a good size for our family. Owner was responsive. Short drive to barefoot landing.

Pictures Don't Reflect the Reality

The linens were so dirty that we had to wash them (twice) before using them. The comforters were absolutely filthy (including a blood stain on one); we didn't even bother to use them. The property overall (especially the bathrooms) was rundown and requires serious upgrades. When I let management know about the lack of cleanliness at the conclusion of our stay, they asked if we had contacted housekeeping. Well, no, we didn't- our party arrived later and we didn't discover the dirty linens until later that night. But with a $169 cleaning fee, why should we have to contact housekeeping anyway? Just a complete disappointment.

June Trip

Positives for this condo: The ocean views are amazing! The location is great, too! The space for our family was great. It was nice having the extra beverage fridge! The management team responded quickly. Suggestions and/or need to know: The unit wasn't cleaned very well. The unit as a whole needs some updating (countertops are cracked and stained, kitchen cabinets need updated, all bathrooms need updating, sliding doors to balcony need fixed (hard to open and close) and the gnats were everywhere and we couldn't get rid of them. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the response to our needs was great.

Wonderful relaxing stay!

We had 7 adults staying in the unit. There was plenty of room for everyone. We really enjoyed having the space to all be on the balcony at one time. The unit was very clean and fully equipped with all that we needed. The instructions we received before arriving were very helpful and made our stay very stress-free. We definitely recommend staying here!

Family Weekend

Upon arriving at the condo we were greeted with a very foul smell. After locating the smell we realized it came from the garbage disposal. We were able to get rid of the smell after a few hours. Multiple flies came out from the disposal. We were swatting flies all weekend. It was as if the room wasn’t occupied for quite some time and no one checked on it before our stay.

Getaway!

The accommodations were great and the property manager responded in a timely manner when we called. The only true issue we had were gnats but with everything else in our favor who could complain about nature! We enjoyed out stay and would stay again! Thumbs up Windy Hill!

Excellent rental

Can't ask for much better. Building was extremely well maintained. Pool, lazy river and hot tub were all open and available for use. There are three elevators and not once did I have to wait to use one. The building is right on the beach so we could see the ocean with no issue. Being on the first floor limits the view up and down the beach but otherwise no issue. The unit itself was as advertised; all dishes, cookware, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, fridge with icemaker. If I had to 'complain' about something, I guess I could say the sliding door to the balcony was a bit difficult to open and close. But all that means is that a child wouldnt be able to open it themselves so it is a nice safety feature. Like I said, if I had to complain about something, this is all I could possibly dig up. Overall, very pleased with this rental.
