Thoroughly enjoyed out stay here. It is in the area we like to stay. The only issues were the floors. After 1 day going barefoot, my feet were black. Place was clean with the exception of the floors, they need mopping.

Nice ocean view

This condo was nice overall, though a few things I thought would be good to point out. Id recommend bringing slippers or socks to wear around the condo. No matter how much you try to vacuum or sweep, your feet will be dirty. The master bedroom was nice, being able to hear the ocean. The windows must be a bit drafty because this room is a bit warmer than the rest of the condo. The curtains and blinds do not stop the light from shining through if that bothers you before 6am. We had a draining issue with our bath tub, but the manager quickly replied when I reached out. One thing I'd highly recommend as a mother traveling with an almost 2 year old and a 4 year old is another locking mechanism for the door on the inside that a child couldn't easily open. I was very concerned about my kids, especially my 4 year old, just walking out of the condo while we were asleep since there's no lock from the inside.

Family Vacation

Overall it was a great week. We would return to this condo. The floor was a bit sandy when we initially arrived (though this is somewhat to be expected when staying at the beach). We did not have any issues. Arrival and check out were easy.

Bring a 3”mattress topper!

The ocean view and convenience of location and building (elevator) is wonderful. Having our 5lb poodle with us is a blessing. The unit is appealing and it feels like a beach condo should. Major complaint you may like to know - ALL mattresses are like concrete slabs! Bring mattress toppers for all beds. Coffee table leg is STILL broken (complaint of a May ‘23 review). Kitchen stocked well enough. Had to use spoons for ice cream scooping as there was no scooper. All appliances and wi-if worked as they should.

AWESOME PROPERTY AND LOCATION

Will definitely be coming back here. Condo was spacious, clean, kitchen was well stocked, an incredible view of the ocean from the 5th floor. Neighborhood is quiet with plenty of police presence. if your looking for a great, clean, quiet vacation condo then look no further this one has it all.

#502 - loved this condo!

Overall we really enjoyed this property! The condo was very large and had plenty of room for my family of 5 plus our pup! Obtaining and dropping off the keys was seamless and it was only about 1.4 miles from the condo. My only complaint would be the cleanliness regarding the floors. Our floors were dirty and sandy and the guest bathroom hadn’t been cleaned prior to our arrival. I left the condo floors much cleaner than we found them, but otherwise I would definitely stay here again! We will visit again soon!

Beach 2022

I have been visiting Crescent beach for over 25 years and my stay at Crescent Dunes was delightful. The unit was clean and decorated in a beautiful beach theme. It was nice to find an ocean front property that allowed pets which made the trip even more enjoyable. I will definitely revisit in the future!

Needs a lil updating with beds

Was nice and home feeling. Could have been cleaned a lil more especially when we are charged for it also. The beds need to be replaced with new ones they are very shot. But everything was nice and home feeling and loved that they are very dog friendly. Was extremely nice and quiet all day and nights.

Great Condo

This condo had everything you need, it was clean, the location was great, communication was great, no issues checking in or out. My only complaint is the king size bed in the master bedroom was very hard. Besides that my family really enjoyed our stay.

Dog friendly

Was comfortable but needs updating. Upon arrival I did inspect the property and sent a list of issues. A service man came to repair the items the next day. Over all we had a nice stay with family and our dog was able to be with us.

Extremely happy with everything!!!!

From the day I booked the property till the day we checked out everything about the property and the process was perfect! Jeanne was so helpful and one of the sweetest humans I ever met! The property is so spacious, located on one of the best spots of North Myrtle and is literally steps to the ocean! We took our own linens so we didn’t do the linen rental but the the condo was very well stocked with everything else you could need! Dishes, utensils, pots and pans, galore! You honestly can’t go wrong booking with Retreat Myrtle Beach and their properties! Our trip was so successful that we are coming back down in a few weeks to look at apartments to permanently move down to the area. My Dad is extremely sick, my mom has major health problems so this trip was all about them! Everything was so perfect and stress free that they got out and did things they haven’t done in years! I can’t be thankful enough for Jeanne, Retreat MB, and the amazing property at Crescent Dunes! Thank you times a billion!!!

Crescent Dunes 502

The building is older. Not many upgrades. Unit needs a deep clean. The beds were hard , not comfortable. However, the location to the beach was perfect. Noise level was very low which was nice considering this was a pet friendly condo. Would stay again if I couldn’t find anything else newer.
