Nice Condo!

My mother, sister & I stayed here for a girls’ trip. We were happy we were able to bring our dog. Very comfortable, great view and location. Definitely recommend!

Crescent Dunes Vacay

Crescent Dunes 401 was everything that was promised. Clean, comfortable, beautiful views, and pet friendly! We loved it! It’s roomy and the kitchen has everything you could need to cook. Beds were comfy, too! I would highly recommend it! We would stay there again!

Great Vacation!

We enjoyed Crescent Dunes 401. I would recommend this place. You look forward to vacations and when it comes you want everything to go smoothly, so you can enjoy it. This was the easiest check in & check out process. The Condo was great along with location and pool area. I will definitely be booking again next year. Thank You

A wonderful family holiday at Christmas

We really enjoyed our time at the Crescent Beach condo as a family, celebrating Christmas. Communication prior to, and at, check in was professional and timely. The overall process for arrival was very easy and everything was exactly as described. We had unseasonable cold weather during our stay but the HVAC unit kept us warm and toasty. The kitchen was very nicely appointed and the unit was very spacious and beautifully decorated adding to our comfort. We are planning to book for Christmas this year.

Loved it

I loved the ocean view! It was clean! A lot of the walls have chips in them and some of the ceiling fixtures but it didn't bother me. The dryer broke and it was fixed the next day quickly. I would stay here again! I just wish there was an area for your dog to go potty. You have to go to the beach or across the street.

This is the first time we’ve stayed in 401z It was clean and comfortable for the most part- the only thing I would say I was not thrilled about was the master bath- the shower is a tiny cube and very cramped. There so much space in the bathroom that is wasted, make the shower bigger like 302 and this place would be our new favorite!

Needs Some Updates

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in this building many times but this is the first time in this unit and it is in need of some updates. Range needs replaced and two living room chairs are in bad condition. We actually bought throws to place over the chairs because the seat covering and the foam underneath were flaking off. Our request for a new toaster was promptly handled, though. Thank you Jeanne. Bathrooms also need to be updated. Unit was clean and building in good condition. We would certainly recommed this building to friends but would suggest one of the more updated units.

Cozy place to stay overall

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed staying at Crescent Dunes 401. The new sofa and chairs in the living room are very comfortable. An ottoman would be a nice addition though - and add some TV trays for eating in the living room. Unfortunately, the dining table chairs were extremely uncomfortable - so much so that we ate in the living room with our plates in our laps. I recommend adding cushions to the dining chairs. All the beds were very comfortable. I think the stove is worn out as it takes forever for burners to get ready to cook, and it takes forever to boil water. We loved the balcony and the view sitting on the balcony was just wonderful. The sliding glass door was really difficult to open and close and the glass is not clear and obscures your view (same goes for the side windows.) The building and the grounds are kept extremely well. Very impressive. The business of working with Retreat is cumbersome with a rental contract that resembles a long-term lease (over-kill for a vacation rental for one week) with multiple pages that you must initial or sign and either fax to their office or scan and email (no eSignature option).

Enjoyed our stay at Cresent Dunes

We enjoyed our stay at Crescent Dunes. The condo was as advertised and met our needs. The most convenient parking and beach access of any condo we've rented. The corner unit balcony was very nice with a great view and lots of room and we loved the sturdy table. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and we had an enjoyable vacation with our little senior furbaby. The condo itself is a bit outdated and the primary bath could use remodeling. The shower is extremely small with a bifold door behind the bathroom door; however, we made it work and I would rent this unit again because the building itself was clean and convenient. The balcony doors need replacing and felt like they were coming off the track; a condo owner above us let us use his WD40 on the doors which helped to open them but they're scratched and impossible to clean enough to see through. Installing a handle would assist in opening/closing the doors more safely. We arrived a day after the hurricane and possibly the wind affected the doors a little too as it had blown out the window of the condo above us. Overall, a great place to stay with fantastic beach access and a nice, uncrowded beach to enjoy.

To the owner of the condo: Us renters get it, you have a property that makes you money on the side. Congratulations, that is great. However, at least pretend you care about your customers who are making you the $$$$. Spend a little time and little money and this condo will be in much better shape. There is paint peeling from several parts of the walls and ceiling. The master bathroom is half painted and looks terrible. This place needs a complete paint job. (Which is easy and inexpensive). The air conditioner is not very good. The building is old so I'm not sure this is on the owner of condo 401 but the Air Conditioner is not really good. Also, the vacuum stinks. You need a new one badly.Now the good, great location. You can't be any closer to the beach than this place and you are in the heart of all the fun for the kids. Solid restaurants nearby and obviously world class golf.This place would be a winner if the owner spent a few bucks but until then I would pick another condo in this building if you're thinking about staying here.
