House was dirty

The house was very dirty. Black hair in bathroom floors and shower. Mold on outside of windows. Toilet paper holder in master bath fell off. Laundry room stunk really bad. Couldn’t sleep in small bedroom because the air conditioner next door was so loud.

Great little bungalow in a great location

We stayed for five nights in this 2-bed, 2-bath house with our family of four. We really enjoyed the home and the amenities throughout the Barefoot resort, which this house serves as a perfect location. Now, here are some highlights and things to consider: Check-in: Check in was pretty easy, but I shorted it a star because we arrived on a Wednesday. You needed to check-in after 4:00 but the office closed at 4:30. Our flight landed in Charleston at 3:00, so this wasn’t an option. Getting our keys and other items was easy enough to access the lock box outside, but having to come back between 11-2:00 the next day or be fined $150 seems extreme. We had to make a special trip just to pop in, sign a piece of paper and get back to our vacation. Barefoot Resort: lots going on here. We used the smaller pool down the street from us, which served our needs on a hot, humid summer day. We couldn’t find any beach towels and ended up buying a couple cheap ones to use at the pool and the beach. Hopefully they’ll stay in the unit for others to use. Lots of great restaurants around the resort. The marina and barefoot marina and grill are a short walk from the house and had a great view and decent food. The restaurants across the inter-coastal will require a drive. There’s plenty of huge, good restaurants, a playground and even some shopping. There’s a market with basic groceries and such down the street and a Food Lion not too much farther away for groceries. Others: bring your own TP

Great Little Place

We love the Barefoot Landing neighborhood. This is a great little house with a king bed in the master and two twins in the second bedroom. Two baths make it easy for a family to get ready in the morning and everything is a short drive away. My husband especially liked that the TVs in the living room and master are large. Sometimes, rentals disappoint with the TVs, but not here. The kitchen has dishes, pots and one pan. The rental has lots of cooking utensils, but could use a few standard knives. During our stay we needed to contact the property manager, iTrip. They replied to us in a timely fashion and resolved our concern the same day. We’ll gladly rent a property they manager again.

Perfect place in a perfect location!

We were so happy with our stay. What a great retreat in between outings. A cozy, clean, and spacious place. Close to anything you’d want to do. Access to an incredible pool. North Myrtle Beach / Barefoot Landing is the way to go. You won’t regret staying here.

Almost perfect

My family really enjoyed our stay here. We have two kids aged 12 and 10. The house is beautiful and the location is a short walk to the marina grill and big pool which was convenient. There is also a small pool area close to the property which was nice too. The beds are comfortable and the layout felt big enough for a family of 4. Overall I was happy with the stay. It is a quick drive to the beach. Probably my favorite part was the front porch area where you can sit and listen to the rain. The only issue I had during the stay was the washer, which had some mold in it. I called maintenance and they did send someone to clean it and run bleach through it, but unfortunately it didn’t really fully fix the issue. However beyond that I was happy with basically every other part of our stay and I am still rating it 5 stars despite that one issue.

Place was very cute and close to everything. Beds comfortable but couches were not and looked dirty. Shower had a lot of black scum around edges of walls and on the wall tiles. Some larger utensils were gross not cleaned

Beautiful Cottage in this beautiful resort area

Not a fan of iTrip but I can't hold It against this adorable home. We found out the day before that check out is 10am during the off season even though fridge states 11am. I was told to refer to the contract. Not the best customer experience; left a sour taste BUT I would recommend this home and I would also recommend mgmt company update literature to reflect correct info

My favorite place on Earth

The property was in a quiet section, and close to all of the entertainment we need/want! The drive to the beach is quick. The access to the pools is also fantastic! The house was beautifully decorated and clean as usual! I love it here! We will see you next year!

what can be communicated better

Disposal of Trash -directions on the paperwork said use trash can or use the trash shoots within the towers. The trash can that seemed to be associated with our rental was being used by the neighboring home. We suggest the trash can be visible for renters and/or place associated house number on trash can. We ended up lugging the trash over to the tower several times during our stay which was a major inconvenience. Pool access- It was wonderful to have pool access but parking a car wasn’t communicated. With the towers all having gated parking we drove around until we found open parking at the Marina restaurant
