"We had a wonderful stay at Moeraki Station. It was such a beautiful experience for us. Jane, the hostess, at all times was very quick with communicating with us and was very proactive and thoughtful throughout our stay. The house is warm and inviting. We came on a cold, windy evening and there was plenty of wood and matchsticks for our fireplace in the living room. Our kids loved watching the fire and it nicely heated the whole house. "An absolutely stunning location. Rolling hills, native bush and a beautiful lake. If you want to see the vast expanse of stars with no light pollution at night, settle into the rhythm of the gentleness of time without phones and TV, this is your place. It is rustic, but cozy and comfortable. So many lovely touches... lovely memories made and a few good books devoured from the deck in the sunshine. Thanks Evan for sharing this special place. "

"We stayed here for just one night on our way to Taupo, but honestly, we wish we had stayed longer! The place was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The view was absolutely beautiful, so peaceful and calming.It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into making the space welcoming and well-equipped. We really appreciated the quiet surroundings.This was the perfect stopover, and we’ll definitely be booking again next time for more than just one night!"
