"The place was cheap, but I would say bad value for money for a number of reasons, outlined belowBad - black mould on bedroom curtains- Black mould in the bathroom- Loose wooden planks in the bathroom- Lots of Cobwebs in every room and in the cupboards, even immediately after checking in- Cabinet in bathroom was loose- Not enough toilet roll- No salt and pepper in the salt and pepper shakers- No bar or shop on site, despite this being advertised- No member of staff seen on site- Very poor...

The cottage is located right next to the Community golf course and a short distance walk to Tehidy Country which is ideal for dog walks. It is 5 min drive to the village of Portreath with a lovely beach for surfing, exploring a Smugglers Cave and rock pools. "Quiet location with wonderful views when on the property grounds. The cottage was a perfect size for 4 people. Walkers have a 35 min walk to st ives. The drive there can be difficult as its single lane country roads but we had no issues. Beaches with 15 mins but parking is a bit troublesome in the summer. The hosts were always available for help. Would visit again."
