Not what you expect
Upon initial booking and communication everything seemed great. The owner even let us leave our bags two hours before check in. However, we noticed a musky smell immediately when we arrived. There was black mold on the ceilings on the first and second floor. The listing also has a "pool" this is misleading the pool is an 8 minute drive away. The lake also has alligators, do not swim there. Some of the homes were not kept up some were. Ours had mold and four days in the ceiling starting bulging and water poured into the living room. We had to leave the property and when the fixed it drywall dust was left everywhere and all the furniture, tv and everything in the living room was left in disarray. We had to hang everything back on the walls ourselves. The neighborhood is fine, but there are some interesting people who frequent the homes and all areas of the day and night. I would not feel comfortable walking alone. It is close to many things, which is a positive however, between the horrible smell, leaks and lack of a pool it was just not worth the money. I have tried repeatedly to discuss a way to amend our stay with the property manager but he has yet to contact me.
