"The location was beautiful. But the house was very dirty and in need of much repair. The water smelled like poop. The toilet in our room was filled with waste. The ceiling downstairs right by the kitchen had a huge hole and pipes exposed. The front door was broken and needed much repair. "Cheryl did a wonderful job accommodating my gluten and dairy allergies! It was so nice to be able to actually eat the breakfast that she so carefully prepared. Jim was great about checking on us! They gave great recommendations for our Bourbon Trail experience. The property is lovely and comfortable!"

"A very unique place to stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. I was able to park on the street in front of the inn most of the time. But one day the parking lot was full and I had to park across the street and thru a stop light. We enjoyed our stay. Carpets need to be replaced or cleaned."

"The character & history were unbelievable, but the staffing was less than ideal. We didn’t see a single person there. Checkout time was pretty early & if you don’t get to breakfast early, you will miss out. There wasn’t even any coffee left. Glad I got a chance to stay there, but I’m not sure I’d go again…"
