We ended up leaving the property early because we did not feel safe.On the first night, just as we were about to go to bed, a person from across the street came and began banging loudly on the front door. He asked for a jump for his car battery. I declined, and he left looking extremely upset. The situation made us very uncomfortable, especially being in an unfamiliar area at night.Because of this incident, we decided it was best to leave the property early and contacted the agent to request a partial refund. Our request was declined, with the explanation that they have no control over people in the neighborhood. While that may be true, safety is a major concern when traveling, and unfortunately we did not feel safe staying there.In addition to the safety concern, the house itself needs several repairs. The bathroom ceiling is in poor condition, and some of the furniture appears to have been chewed on by animals.Travelers should be aware of these issues before booking. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet our expectations.
