"Room was clean and comfortable. Loved the clean bathroom. Great shower with never ending hot water.The oversized mini refrigerator was great to have keep my bag of ice for 2 day as I we used it in our cooler during the day and refreshed it in the freezer when we returned. Kept food & drinks chilled. Hot coffee pot was well used for making hot coffee and tea.Room could use a few more hooks to hand clothes and towel bars. Bed was too soft. Would prefer a firmer mattress"

"DISGUSTING-DIRTY-DANGEROUS The pictures are a lie!!
The cottage is run down, back door DID NOT lock, bedding torn, ants, with mold and rot everywhere. This place may have been nice at one time but it is absolutely gross now.
We walking in and in thirty minutes I booked another place on Expedia and we left. Contacted the management company and it took them two days to respond, of course they said the facility is in excellent condition. Lies!!
I have book dozens of places through Expedia since...

"The grounds and the view are great, the cabin has been partially restored. It was a very rustic kitchen set-up, but we made it work. Only real problem were ants. They could find a single grain of sugar anywhere.We named the rooster that hangs around there Hei-Hei. We also had the gecko brothers who kept sneaking into kitchen.The pond has toads in it and they sing at night, counted 6 one night. The water lily bloomed while we were there.The temp on the water heater needs to be turned up a little,...

"Beautiful property. Hubby and I enjoyed the private downstairs while our son and family had a great time on first floor. We liked falling to sleep and waking up to the ocean view. Thanks so much for sharing your house with us. Everything was in excellent shape. Would highly recommend. Owner was very responsive to our questions, great host! Just wish we had longer to stay, a few weeks would have been great, just ran out of time in HI. Thanks again."

"The room was a superb find. Is not a new room; however is very comfortable, clean, spacious, close to everything and with lots of amenities. Its location is right in the middle of Downtown Historic Hilo. Close to the bus terminal which can take you the Volcanos Park and other locations of Hilo.
