I was so wowed by this property! It is so beautiful. The description says secluded, but I wasn't prepared for the house to be tucked into the hills, so you see gorgeous views from every side. The property itself is unique and delightful. I never wanted to leave! Despite feeling like you are far away from the whole world, it was only 15mins into Point Reyes Station, so it was still a very convenient location overall. I plan to go back as soon as possible!

Family vacation

This was a wonderful property in a beautiful and isolated setting. It was plenty of space for a family of 5. It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with dishware and cooking ware. We had a great time, and Roger was very attentive! Highly recommend!

Lovely stay!

It's such a beautiful space on a lovely property. The house was spacious and comfortable and Roger was great answering our questions and left us information on the area for us to peruse. We'd love to be back sometime and have another retreat there!

Girls Get-Away

We were a group of six women gathering for a reunion in the Point Reyes area. After reviewing several properties, we selected this one because of its bright and airy look and its ability to sleep six. We stayed in the Tree House, one of two rentals on Roger’s property. The house was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully appointed with everything one might need. The property is very beautiful and very quiet, being well off the main road. Roger was responsive to all our questions and accommodated our parking needs. Although the property appears to be a distance from Point Reyes Station and other places of interest, it was nice to have a quiet off-the-beaten-path location for our group; driving times were all manageable. We had a lovely stay and I would highly recommend this location.

A bit of paradise

Off the beaten track, Tree House is a perfect place to unwind. The setting was beautiful. The house is full of original art and the best-equipped kitchen I have ever encountered at my many house stays. The knives actually cut! The owners live a few steps away and are helpful and charming. I want to go back.

A wonderful week with family

Our family occupied all three houses on the property. The houses were all perfect, well equipped, beautifully decorated, clean and very well maintained. The setting is beautiful. Milky way visible at night. Roger couldn't have been a more accommodating and welcoming host. It was a truly memorable week for all of us!

Tranquil and comfortable

We (two adults and one teen) stayed at the Tree House for five nights in August 2023. Roger is a kind and welcoming host. The house and surrounding property are beautiful and the house has everything you need. It's well-situated for trips into the town of Point Reyes Station (10 minutes away) and to the local hiking trails. Whether you want to curl up with a book or get out into nature, you will be in just the right spot!

My family and I stayed at Roger's beautiful property in May of 2023. We came to stay and celebrate my sister's wedding. The home is very comfortable and full of the amenities you'll want. We really loved the architecture and design style, and were so in love with the natural landscape surrounding this "Tree House". It was the perfect place to get ready, and the clean and bright interior created the ideal backdrop for bridal "getting ready" photos. Roger was very friendly, and we highly recommend a stay at his place! Can't wait to come back another time!

Magical Treehouse Tucked In the Forest

The "Tree House" is such a perfect name for this place, but don't let that make you think it is small or dirty or overrun by nature. The house itself is extremely well built and meticulously cared for. Everything is clean and in perfect working order. I've stayed here twice now and it's been the exact same both times. Somehow Roger keeps this place looking brand new, even though I'm imagining he has guests staying there frequently. I would highly recommend this as a getaway from the hustle and bustle. It's tucked into nature in the heart of one of the most beautiful places on earth, the vibe is warm and cozy and the layout is unique and well thought out. Good for kids or couples or groups of friends alike. There is a lovely little creek that runs right by the house and the sound is very relaxing. This is a special place, and Roger helps make it that way by being a consummate host. Not to mention, the kitchen actually has almost everything you need and with quality cookware and appliances, unlike many vacation rentals I've stayed in.

Wonderful House, Host and Location

Tree House was more than we'd hoped for as a unique, custom built home in a beautiful setting. It was immaculate with a fully equipped kitchen and art from local artists adorning the walls. The location gave us easy access to Point Reyes, Petaluma, and gorgeous biking routes to Dillon and Marshall. Our host, Roger, made us feel more than welcome and had much to share about the special setting and region. We look forward to returning!
