"There isn't anything I liked . The hotel was awful, staff unhelpful even after we complained. The manger was useless and unhelpful. The shower was broken bed side cabinet was also broken . "A very nice hotel with good facilities with a lovely golf course, spa & pool. Room ok but felt basic. TV very old poor quality, kettle needed descaling and no glasses for drinks in room yet given bottles of water? Asked maid to make up the room in afternoon but when came back in evening it hadn't been done our bins were full up. This wa resolved after I'd gone to reception. "Had an enjoyable stay at the Plough,our room was lovely, clean and comfortable, bathroom was clean and the shower was excellent !! Sunday carvery was nice,plenty of good food and good value.Breakfast was ok maybe could do with a little improvement but the staff were excellent ,very attentive 👍"

"The hotel is quirky, old coach inn. The staff were lovely and the room was as expected. We stayed in room 3 with the four poster bed. The only things that let the place down was the parking, if you parked at the back, there was only about 3 spaces and you need to fit through a tight gap to get to it. There is parking on the road but only free from 6pm Saturday night to Monday morning. The host did not mention that they had a party on the evening we stayed until we checked in. I arrived late due to being held up at work so called ahead, the chap on the phone was kind enough to wait 1hr30 past the check-in deadline for me to get there, thank you! Had only booked the single room for 1 night, while the room could be classed as a little snug it was nothing less than very comfortable. "This is our 2nd stay in this hotel, and once again, it was perfect for us! There has been a change in management since we were last here, and the current manager & partner were busy decorating the rooms. They have a lot to do, but are clearly working hard on it.
