My wife and I stayed here for my birthday weekend and overall it was decent but there were a few issues that should be known. 1. We had an extremely hard time getting the property to stay a decent temperature. 2 of the windows appear to have drafts coming in like the windows weren’t flashed correctly and with it being 45 degrees outside made for a very chilly stay even cranking the heat to 80. 2. The bathroom is literally doll sized. The sink was the shortest sink I have ever seen and was unusable for most purposes and we ended up using the kitchen sink for our night time routines. The shower was also undersized and clunky. Overall it wasn’t terrible but we dealt with enough issues that we probably wouldn’t book again

Two things: While the directions sent to us were OK, trying to find the place with car navigation is difficult. Emphasize using your directions not navigation. The place is not very disabled friendly. Make sure this is clear.

The bed was super soft and comfortable. The deck had wonderful views. The outside deck chairs were rusted but seemed to be fairly sturdy but won't for much longer.

We showed up shortly after the 4pm check-in time and it was still being cleaned. This was annoying after many hours in the car but not a big deal to come back 30 minutes later. It is a good value overall, the views are better than than the pictures in the listing. It is within walking distance or a short drive to some of the best parts or Newport.

We (two couples-mid 60's-2 cars) had a great 4 night stay as we helped family in the area prepare to move. The home is located in a very quiet and walkable neighborhood very close to Nye Beach, restaurants & services. We enjoyed cooking, utilizing the great BBQ & deck & enjoyed a great dinner at Pacific Kitchen at Nye Beach. We walked there. The home is spacious, nice views, comfortable furniture, hot tub and massage chair. The two king sized beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay & would rent and return here again.

Hot tub was not hot and dirty. This was the main reason for renting. Our comforter was dirty with a stain. Gross. The garbage disposal was broke. The massage chair was GREAT! We love the location. This was our second time staying in this place. We won’t be back.

Nice,clean. The bathroom cabinet and shower handles need to be replaced. Rusty! Floors have a plastic sound, person upstairs could be heard, no fault of theirs. Good location. Would like a 11:00 or 12:00 check out time.

My sister and I stayed here two nights for a weekend getaway - the place was mostly as described but it would have been helpful to have more info about the upstairs tenant. I would not stay here again based on the upstairs tenant, and the only mention of a tenant was in the parking info (not in the description of the rental). The way the property is divided (and the age of the unit) makes things kind of loud when the tenant is coming and going. They weren't doing anything "wrong," or out of the ordinary, but them coming home at 11:30pm woke me up, and then showering afterwards and whatever else was happening upstairs made it impossible to get back to sleep until after 1am. Also, when they come and go from their entrance at the back of the unit (or when they do laundry) it sounds like someone is in your half of the unit. Again, the tenants were just living their lives and not doing anything unreasonable, but it wasn't for me. The location is very convenient and it's walkable to the beach, Nye Beach, and even the bayfront if you don't mind going up and down a large hill. We didn't cook so only used the kitchen a little bit for breakfast and snacks. The kitchen had basics, but seemed a bit short on supplies if you wanted to cook meals. The hot tub was lovely and private, but you do have to go out the front door, down the stairs, and then into the side yard to access it. Overall, everything was fine, but I would stay somewhere else in the future because it was very hard to sleep with the upstairs tenant.

Place was a nice escape for the weekend. Could be a little better equipped for cooking and food prep but is a spacious kitchen with great fridge. Only other suggestion would be some better sheets on the beds.

This is a decent property if you plan to explore the area and want to have a more home like experience when you’re not out and about. If you plan to use the grill, confirm the propane tank level as we were unable to get a replacement in time during our visit. We enjoyed the very clean and warm hot tub.

The jacuzzi jets in the bathtub did not work at all. The heater in the bathroom wall blew out cold air. The fan above the tub exhausted the warm air from the bathroom - this all made bathing a chilly experience!

Our stay was pleasant. This is a very "Homey" home and though there were some dirty dishes and sub par cooking equipment, it was fairly well stocked. A quick trip to the local Goodwill (Lincoln City) and Grocery Outlet helped to stack some of what was needed (A good cooking pot, foil and plastic wrap. My wife and I have become accustomed to staying in houses at the shore, so we knew that the kitchen stating, "It is stoked", know that we will have to bring what we use in coffee, cooking supplies and spices. The hot tub could use a routine cleaning and maintenance. There was some residue on the tub edges and water color was murky. Overall, though, the house was good. Great king sized bed, comfortable and warm. House smelled good and BBQ worked very well to foil grill some fish. Thank you.
