The place was nice for my family and I. There were a few things we didn’t like about it:1) No enclosed garage. Hard with bikes2) The bbq for the upstairs unit was not functional or ideal3) The dryer took forever to dry clothes4) There was a constant humming sound.

Amazing location

The location is incredible, you could not be closer to beach. The kitchen was fully stocked, lots of towels provided.Unit is definitely older and one of the beds is in need of a new mattress. If you are sharing the rental with other guests, be aware you will hear them.

Great Location

We had an amazing vacation. The property was exactly what we expected. The view from upstairs was incredible and a quick walk to the ocean. Also very close to stores and restaurants. It wasn't fancy but very comfy house. Very minimal in the kitchen but perfect if you don't want to cook. Screen doors leading to the balcony needs to be replaced and the balcony itself wasn't big enough to sit out on with chairs.

Star Wars Night Vacay

We had a wonderful time staying this home in Newport Beach. It was a perfect location for a night at Disneyland and right on the beach. We were lucky enough to see whales playing right outside of our living room window..

Excellent location, good communication, acceptable property

Our family of 4 stayed for a week in Feb 2024. The rental company was very responsive with communication before and during our stay. The property location is perfect--right on the beach, just a short walk from the businesses around the Newport Pier. We loved the view from the 2nd story. The property condition was acceptable. It's definitely not fancy, but it has the basics. Dining table has seen better days, vent hood over oven didn't work, part of kitchen faucet was broken, and several light switches seemed to serve no purpose. The appliances are new but cheapest-in-class. I was surprised by how small the balcony is. It's so narrow that you can't even rotate the chairs and need to sit facing sideways in them. I had imagined our family of 4 using the balcony for card games, but this was physically impossible. I was disappointed to find that all of the toilet paper in the condo was wet and moldy when we arrived. It seems like they were stored improperly--I don't think this happened inside the unit itself but more likely in the cleaning company's storage facility. The hosts apologized and fixed the issue quickly. I was very surprised by the host's requirement that dishes needed to be cleaned, dried, and put away before checkout. Most other rentals just require loading and running the dishwasher prior to checkout. This seems like a small thing, but it made our checkout morning very hectic, as I had to hand-wash and dry every breakfast dish and utensil. What a pain in the

Beach View

Excellent beach/ocean view and location near Newport Beach pier. Rental was clean. Comfortable beds but queen beds only. The living room/kitchen was spacious. Could use a dinning table upgrade as well a a better shower. To get hot water required running the shower full on and even then the temp was marginal at times. Only three small spoons. Overall the rental was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Ultimate view and location!

Our family of five was extremely comfortable in the unit. The view was unmatched and we loved just being a quick walk for coffee and smoothies in the morning. I feel very comfortable recommending this property to others.

Fantastic stay

Beautiful views of the sunset cozy accommodations fantastic staff everything as advertised in the ad. This is why we prefer VRBO over air b n b as they mislead and add costs that they didn’t tell you about when you reserved. Thank you staff and VRBO for making our holiday memorably great !

Great Location!

Great Location , right on the beach with tons of activities and restaurants. A bit noisy if you Re looking for calm , but can’t beat this place if you want to be in a beach town!

Windows to the Ocean

This condo was fabulous! Checking in was easy and, even with such a short turn around for the cleaning crew, the property was in great shape upon arrival! It was as described; right on the beach, amazing view of the ocean, Balboa Pier, and even the shoreline/hills to the south. Open the windows at night to hear the waves and get some that fresh sea air! It was chilly, but the sliding doors to the balcony were perfect; full wide view of the beach and ocean from inside! Everything worked great and we had a nice, relaxing weekend getaway. (Next time we’ll visit when it’s warmer though, lol!) The balcony was great to look at the ocean, watch the dolphins, whales (yes, whales!), and people watch along the path in front of the condo, and to go for walks in both directions! (Sooo close to everything!) Whoever stays next, don’t go to the store before checking out the stock first! There were tons of coffee filters (both kinds, and their machine take the cup variety not cone, btw). There were multiple salt and pepper shakers, lol. And we left behind plenty of rolls of toilet paper, and extra paper towels, so the next guest may do the same!

Great location

Enjoyed the stay and proximity to beach and view. Suggestion: heavy wood chairs around kitchen table make a horrible load noise when pulled out to sit. Put felt pads on the legs (24 needed) to stop the noise and especially make it better for downstairs tenants.

Excellent location - could use some TLC

The location is excellent, and really cannot be beat, but that is absolutely what you are paying for, and not a whole lot more. The property would benefit from even some very basic amenities (like more than single ply toilet paper) and comforts (the beds were no softer than plywood, and equally uncomfortable pillows). If those things don’t matter to you, and you are just looking for a beachfront property, this will more than suffice. However, if you want to maintain a level of comfort above the roadside motel, you may want to look elsewhere.

Great place and excellent communication

It was our first trip out post-pandemic so we splurged to be right next to the sand. Totally worth it. The level of customer service from the host was very impressive: fast, smooth, and very clear communication. There was a little rain damage to the ceiling prior to our arrival and the host called us ahead to let us know and they checked on us during the stay to make sure we were happy. I appreciated not being surprised and it really didn’t effect our time at all. Thank you for a great experience.

No AC - tough to be inside at all

Location is great, beach out front is amazing, but we went during a heat wave and the unit has no AC, so very uncomfortable, very hot the entire time we wear there, nearly impossible to sleep when inside temps were 95 throughout the evening I won’t ever rent a unit without AC ever again.

Great Location

House is on the older side and could use some maintenance but not bad. One of the beds is missing a slat near the head which may be an issue for couples. For a single person it could be offset but not as easily for a couple. The location is amazing and the huge sliding glass doors with the beach view can't be beat.
