Everything went really well for our stay on 40th Street in Newport! Wendy was so nice to work with and so helpful. The kitchen was well stocked, with pots and pans and everything you could need. Bring your own salt and pepper (spices). We could see the ocean from our balcony, and having 2 parking spaces was wonderful. We were in the upstairs unit and had 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the bathrooms were remodeled and very nice. The beds were comfortable, and each room had a fan. The TVs had Roku, which was nice, so we could watch movies. We never ran out of hot water, and we took a lot of showers. The washer and dryer were nice and did not require coins. The kitchen table could fit 8 adults, which was nice.
Beachview provided us with sheets and blankets, dish towels, bath towels, hand towels, beach towels and everything we could need. We also were provided with hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap and tin foil.
Here is what could be improved on:
-the internet was slow and went out all of the time, which was bad for our kids that had to work remotely. We asked Beachview to help us, and they immediately sent someone over to our rental, but the service guy told us that the owners would need to invest in a better internet system. He was very nice.
-my husband thought the couches were uncomfortable, but I thought they were fine.
All in all, it was wonderful. You have to know that when you rent a place in Newport, you are not expecting a 5 star hotel, but you are getting a comfortable home/rental that does the job. We loved every minute of it.
