Pros: We loved the proximity to the beach, the ocean views and listening to the waves while we slept. The unit is spacious, decorated nicely and has comfortable furniture and beds. It is close to fun restaurants and shops and the balcony is great for people watching. A car is not necessary. Cons: This is a third floor unit and the elevator was down the entire time we were there. This was not an issue for us, but if you had a need for one this would have been problematic. The unit was not as clean as we would have hoped. There were cheetos on the floor, there was a full-length mirror on the master bed which was heavy to move. The remotes were sticky. The first glass I took out of the cabinet had wet sugar in it. Every time anyone tried to get ice out of the freezer, ice cubes would go all over the floor. If you are a light sleeper or have young children, it starts to get very loud with street sweepers around 5am. We could go back to sleep but it was disruptive. There is no beach gear whatsoever (even towels), but this is clearly noted in the rental agreement. We ordered 2 beach chairs and they were there upon our arrival. There were only 4 bath towels provided. Overall the building is old, but the unit is beautiful and we would return!
