Newport x-mas vacation

The house and the location were just what we needed this year. The house easily accommodated 7 adults and with walkable access to coffee or the shops at the pier there was no need to drive once we were there. Definitely a property I would recommend if you are looking for a beach vacation with family.

Great Beachfront Property for 7-8

It was great to be right on the beach - great views and great location. The house has ample room for 7-8 adults - lots of comfortable bed space, plenty of pillows and blankets, good hang out space in the dining and living areas. The house was clean and comfortable and the owners and rental agency were very responsive to all our needs. We would definitely come back here!

More than expected

The house was roomy, with plenty extra chairs and furniture more than enough for 7 of us. We used BBQ grill for 2 nights, spent most of time at patio relaxing, our adult and teenage children bodyboarding all day. Round table in the living was great for card game, kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The first day, we had issues with one of the shower and bathroom lock, but the management office quickly responded and plumber and handyman fixed them within a few hours. In late August the beach was not crowded, and super peaceful watching people walking dogs, kids playing, from a patio. Master bathroom had a large shower, where it was convenient to wash the sands off the swim suits. I was worried how hot it gets without air conditioner, but it was fine as the temperature dropped at night.

Perfect beachfront home for the entire family!

Great property all around! Ideal location close enough to the pier but far enough for exclusive beach access that is not crowded. It was a great experience for children under 2 - 10 years old. Ideal for spending some time at the beach and near Disneyland. Very easy check-in and out process. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Perfect beach getaway

This home was as pictured but even better than expected. We stayed with extended family (total of 8 adults) and it was great. Plenty of comfortable seating room for us in both the living room and the dining area. The kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of dishes/glasses/mugs/silverware/pans etc. The outdoor area had plenty of room as well - table, chairs and comfortable top to sit on patio surround. Plenty of beds and hosts supplied towels/handtowels/washcloths for each of us. They also left us beach towels which was a nice touch. We had a minivan and were able to fit it and one other car in the garage. Parking a third car in the driveway. There is street parking, but it's a bit hard to come by. There are many restaurants and a grocery store near by. The location was awesome and it was terrific to walk right out on the sand. I will definitely be back!

Perfect beach house for the family!

Large 4 bedroom house directly on the beach. Nice patio for relaxing with the family. 5 minutes from restaurants and shops at the pier. Only negative is the TV in the master was not functioning, but I’m sure that’s an easy fix. Highly recommend

Plenty of space for a group

We love this property!! Villa Rentals is easy to work with and very convenient check in/out. This property is great!... such a spacious layout and being right on the sand is fabulous!! Parking was convenient 3 spaces, kitchen is well equipped, many beds for guests, with spacious bedrooms. Lighting is poor in the living room, could use a few more lamps, brighter bulbs (track lights are too bright) master bedroom king bed was a bit uncomfortable (I brought my pillow topper, because I remembered this from last time) Could use a little update on some items, wouldn't take very much. Fridge/freezer light was out and needs replacing. But all in all we had a wonderful stay and will be back!!

Newport Beach Gem!

Location was easy to find and close to other LA Area attractions. House was spacious and easily fit 8 adults with room to spare. We hit the jackpot as far as beach access and closeness to water. Sunrise and sunset were gorgeous and it felt like we mostly had the beach to ourselves

Excellent Stay

Overall, this was a wonderful stay. The home is directly on the beach, which was terrific, especially if you have children. There was plenty of space and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The refrigerator was not functioning and a repair man was sent out the same day to fix it. We would stay here again. Thanks so much.

Great location! Tons of kitchen items for cooking for large groups.

Superb location! Kitchen is well supplied with bowls and plates and pots and pans etc. One would have no problem prepping for a large group. Views are amazing and to be able to walk straight out onto the beach is priceless. Mid-end May apparently is not very busy. Weather still good. Only gripe was both can openers didn’t work but management company delivered a working one straight away along with a lighter for the fireplaces. Oh almost forgot the fireplaces! Firing those up (two sided fireplace) made for some great mood lighting. Check for coffee filters when you arrive too because the management company had to bring some over. Very responsive. Met the owner. Nice guy. One thing to pass in to the property owners though...it’s time to Stanley Steamer the chair cushions. It’s a beach property so no one expects them to look clean but time thinks they are starting to smell. Maybe put them out in the sun for a day would do. ;-)

A great time at the beach

Overall we loved our time here. A week in April over spring break. You can not beat the location. Stunning. Outdoor furniture is great. 3 beach chairs plus corn hole and spikeball. Plenty of room and the bed set up is great. Master bed and pillows not super comfy. Towels, hand soap and TP well stocked. No cooking oils or spice so bring your own or buy. Limited glassware and a real mix and match of dishes but we got by. The house was a little dated and the dining room chairs need replacing or recovering as they are well stained. But overall / if you want to be on the sand / the place is great.

On the water and practical

We rented this house when our annual women's retreat for 7 of us had to be moved, due to the tragic floods and mudslides in Carpinteria, where we were headed. This house isn't fancy, but it is right on the water, and has a comfy large seating area where we watched movies. The kitchen and big table worked well for our dinners. We were particularly grateful to Pat, the manager, who was so kind and helpful. We'll remember this property fondly.
