The room is big by New York standards but the hotel feels a bit old and outdated. Needs a face lift urgently. Rooms need better maintenance, specially the bathrooms.
Hotel cleanliness has much to be improved upon.
And service was bellow average. Had to call every day sometimes even three times to get the courtesy bottles of water, at some point I was told they didn’t have any and if I wanted, I could go at 10 o’clock at night to the corner shop to buy some.
For some strange reason, our cleaning lady decided to remove our sheets and blankets from the beds, leaving us only with the comforter. We had to call several times to fix this situation.
In general, I consider that this hotel does not live up to the standards of the Westin chain.
They have much to improve.
I will not be staying here in my future visits to New York and I don’t recommend this hotel.
Still, I must admit that the location is very good inconvenient.
