2025 Florida Vacation

The home and location were absolutely beautiful. It was perfect for our family of six plus our parents tagging along. The house is very well stocked with everything you need. The access to the boat was our favorite part. We fished and scalloped and boated to the sand bar every day. Coming off of the sand bar and having the evening to spend in the pool was so nice. They had everything we needed for the beach and the pool. The location was convenient to town. It was very clean and comfortable. We even had a manatee come visit us one evening in the canal. One of our best Florida vacations. Brenda was also very easy to contact for questions. She even sent us updated pictures of the property after they remodeled.

Had a fabulous time in this gorgeous house. We couldnt believe how quickly and beautifully the house was repaired and renovated after last years storms. All the restaurant's we love in the area were open and as good as ever. The boat and trips to the island/sandbar really make this a special place. Saw lots of wildlife - Dolphins, turtles, manatees and raccoons. Owners were responsive but nit intrusive. We will be back.

Crab shack vaca

This was a great place to stay. Brenda was great she helped with anything u needed n the house was the same. And a boat too!!Best family vaca.The only issue was Vrbo I paid insurance on property for any damages to insurance company n Vrbo charged us too. Never got money back for it so just b careful

Great Home with excellent amenities

The home was clean and well appointed. Pool was very nice and well maintained. Dock and boat are in great shape. Canal is much wider than it appears in the photos, we were surprised by it's size. Very nice quiet spot to relax. Takes between 20 and 30 minutes to get to the sand bar from the house. Home is well appointed, fishing gear, beach gear, etc. The area outside the home is lacking, if you want something to do outside the boat and sandbar, you will need to drive down to Tarpon springs for shops and things to do. No complaints from us, Brenda was communicative and responded to any questions we had. Great host.

Fun vacation

The crab shack was a very nice place to spend vacation. There was a few mishaps during our stay, but the property manager and owner addressed it and dealt with it in a timely fashion. Our twins enjoyed the pool and also watching the Dolphins in the channel.

Beautiful Home

Our week stay was enjoyable. The boat was very nice. The house was exactly as described. The pool was beautiful. The house was stocked with everything that you could need. We would recommend this house for sure and would love to stay again in the near future.

Best VRBO rental I've been do

I went to this rental earlier in May with my very particular adult daughter, her hubby, her 2.5 year old little boy, and my hubby. Can't say enough positive things. We've rented in many VRBO properties. This was one of the best equipped and clean properties. The amenities were great...a heated outdoor salt water pool, docks on the canal, kayaks, and a very nice, easy to use pontoon. We went to Anclote, the boys went out fishing. It was a great, relaxing place. The owners were super responsive. I'm a property manager myself, so our first boat trip out, I noticed they had slightly raised boards going down the stanted dock, which made perfect sense, however they were the same shade as the deck, and blended in. I pointed this out to my hubby, who has mobility issues, so he would be careful. I casually mentioned it to Kim, and within 48 hours, he was there replacing them with bright white boards, which made them much easier to see. I was amazed on how quickly he jumped on this. They are very nice folks...property is great. You won't be disappointed. Thank you Brenda & Kim.

Great getaway

Very beautiful house! Kim and Brenda met us for check in and went over everything. They have thought about everything you could need for the perfect getaway. Having the boat is a huge plus! We would definitely stay there again.

Annual Vacation

When we arrived the owners were there to greet us and go over driving the pontoon (we have a pontoon so we knew how to drive one) and where we could go. The home is beautiful and the layout is perfect. We also received a fruit and cheese platter with a bottle of wine. I would recommend this property for a vacation! There are cameras outside to monitor the property.

Excellent stay

This house is absolutely perfect. All rooms were very spacious and the house was very clean. The screened in lanai was perfect for games nights and the pool was perfect to get cooled off. The location is great for shopping and many local restaurants. Bonus was the pontoon boat which the guys loved and used everyday for fishing and boat rides. Overall 5 star.

Florida Get Away

The owners are lovely people. Upon our arrival they personally checked us in. They spent time visiting and answering our questions. They also reviewed the proper operation of the pontoon boat. We had 4 wonderful days of boating. The property is beautiful inside and out. It is immaculate and tastefully decorated in a beach theme. Everything you need is provided. The saltwater pool is beautiful and very relaxing. The neighborhood quiet and the neighbors are friendly. This VRBO home is one of the nicest we have ever stayed at and I highly recommend it!

Perfect piece of paradise

We have stayed in many VRBO's and this by far is the best one! It was so clean and they had everything! The decor was beautiful and fitting for the Crabshack. The beds were so comfy and the furniture too! Everything was in great shape! The hosts were attentive and made sure check in went smooth and check out. They went out of their way to make sure we had the best stay and we did! We loved every single day. There is not one suggestion we could make to make this stay any better. They thought of and have everything needed to have the perfect vacation! We will definitely be back and are so happy we found this! Thankyou to Kim and Brenda! We had a relaxing time and your house was perfect!

My happy place

This house always feels like my home away from home. Always has everything you need, always clean, love her decor, and the boat allows us to get to my favorite place ever…the sand bar. Can’t wait to go back!

I would give 10 stars if I could!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The homeowner, Brenda was a joy & made sure to meet our EVERY need! The house was exceptionally clean & well stocked with all the things you need for vacation including chairs, floats, coolers, beach towels, & more! The homeowners thought of everything! The pool & boat are perfect! It was like being in a private resort on the water! The neighborhood is quiet & relaxing with plenty to do nearby. I highly recommend this VRBO & hope to be able to return soon! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

A piece of paradise

Fabulous property with lots of added little bits to make stay feel like home. Use of boat is great to see wildlife and visit the island. Pool was lovely and very clean. Great communication with owners always helpful. When we come back to Florida will look to book again. Thanks to Kim and Brenda for this wonderful holiday home.

What a Relaxing Week

Everything about the house was perfect - location, neighborhood, amenities - you name it. If you wish you had it something for the week - chances are they did. Super clean and roomy house, a boat, kayaks, beach towels, corn hole, large-clean grill, pool, several refrigerators and freezers- and Eric the friendly neighbor - it had it all. Having the boat available was especially awesome being a boating family- we defiantly made use of it all 7 days - from fishing trips, sandbar days and sunset cruises.Super easy gulf access. And, they kayaks keep three 17 years olds busy after a day on the boat. The host's were easy to communicate with and help with any questions almost immediately. If we ever stay in the area again - the Crab Shack is the spot.
