Absolutely wonderful! The house is amazing - spacious, clean and has everything you need. The host is extremely helpful and nice - and helped make our kids first non-white Christmas that extra bit Christmassy. Very much recommend staying here! Thank you for a lovely stay

Kara was very welcoming in her communication before our stay. Once we arrived we immediately felt comfortable. The beds are all very comfortable with quality linen. The cottage has all the essentials, and more - modern TV which my son loved, thoughtful touches with family friendly essentials like sunscreen and pamol. Everyone in the family was impressed. An easy walk to the seafront and city center. I'll be telling friends and family to stay here when visiting New Plymouth and we'll likely be back in the near future. Thanks Kara

Easy location to all areas. Very comfortable stay for 4 of us. We had beautiful weather and were able to sit under verandah at the end of each busy day. Having a washing machine was a bonus for our 6 night stay. The bedrooms were of a good size as were the beds. Highly recommend Molesworth Cottage as a place to stay. Easy communication with host also!

Cosy cottage close to the beach and town

Loved the cosiness of the cottage and all the little extras that were included in the bathroom and bedrooms. Heating was adequate for winter weekend stay - and beautify beds and bedding to sleep in. Kitchen was perfect for our family needs and everyone had some space to hang out.

Would love to stay again

A nicely renovated home with many quality creature comforts provided. There's been a lot of thought put into helping guests enjoy their stay. It's conveniently located, close to everything but in a quiet cul de sac. To boot, Host Kara is extremely lovely. Something malfunctioned and she responded so quickly to resolve the issue and make sure we were still comfortable. Thanks so much Kara. Ps the home is even nicer in person than in the pictures

Wonderful stay

This cottage is such a gem. It ticks all the boxes. Just a lovely house with everything you would need. It's got a lovely feel to it and the beds are sooooo comfy. Great area so you can easily walk into town. The house is tidy and everything is just lovely. We had such a great stay and we will be back.

Gorgeous wee cottage; great central location

Our family of 6 left our car at the cottage and easily walked to Puke Ariki via the coastal walkway, to the Cycle Inn to rent bikes, and to town for dinner. The cottage is beautifully presented & generously stocked. We loved it!

Highly Recommended.

I love this place. All my life I visit New Plymouth as my family are scattered all round the mountain. I have gotten use to driving down Friday late afternoon taking time to call in on family all the way down through Te Awamutu, Otorohanga and Te Kuiti before the push through the gorge & my favorite Mt Messenger. The drive is a highlight for my whole life actually. To arrive usually post midnight to roll out into Molesworth Cottage with its relaxed vibe for the first time, comfortable living and compact setting it was incredible to feel relaxed, taking the time to not even rush to bed but sit and soak in the cottage feel with a cuppa washing the day/week/life away. It just really sums up how we have fallen in love with the place over night. My wife is a design chic (kitchen), she agrees with me, one of the best, relaxed holidays in a long time. It has us motivated with our own ideas reinvigorating similar plans due to the simplicity Kara & co have spoiled us with. 10/10 Molesworth Cottage.
