The wife and inwas looking for a night away to relax and unwind. We found this place to be perfect for it. The hot tub was nice. And being enclosed was a nice. It offered privacy from the houses around the property.

We had such a wonderful time. This is a beautiful home, well maintained and the hosts were incredible. Comfy beds and close to restaurants, stores and gas stations. Kotchen had everything we needed to cook our meals in home as well. Such a peaceful relaxing stay with fun activities close by. Thank you!!

Thank you for opening up your place for us to stay. It was a quiet blessing for us. It was very clean. Clear instructions were given. Nothing more than you would do to take care of your own home. It was a 13 minute drive from the Alive Fest. Very convenient. I apologize we didn’t get a chance to reply to your emails as the VrBo app was having problems with errors. Thank you again. God bless.

The property was very clean and well-appointed. Plenty of towels were provided, and extra blankets, and things like trash bags, laundry pods, soaps. It is small, but that is all you really need for a lake trip since mostly you are at the beach or boating! The check-in process was super easy, and host provided plenty of communication. We will definitely consider booking again for any future trips to Atwood Lake!

The house was very clean and welcoming. We loved being close to the lake but also feeling at home. Smart tvs in every room to entertain the kids after a long day on the water. Only downfall was we didn’t really get to use the hot tub because the temp was too cold.

Once a year, the pastors of our church like to get away from the city and spend time thinking, planning, preparing, and praying for our church. We made our plans a little late this year but found this gem. The two most important things for us are a comfortable working space and reliable internet, and this had both. Close behind those are comfortable beds, cleanliness, and a kitchen that is ready to be used. This had them all. We were happy to do our work in the living room area, but if a team is looking to do work at a table, the one table is a bit small with uncomfortable but cute chairs. For a family looking to get away or spend some time on the lake, this would be a great spot too. Everything is clean and neat and well organized and very cozy. It would be a great place to unwind after a day of nature or on a boat. Well, we tend to go to different areas year after year, we would not hesitate to book this place again if we decided to head toward Atwood. As a bonus, a lot of vacation rentals have become very stringent about the checkout procedures and cleaning up, and you are always worried about whether you nailed everything on the checklist to the satisfaction of the owner. This place had a very simple, very straightforward, very reasonable checklist. That just felt like great customer service and was very much appreciated.

While we only stayed for one night, this property comfortably housed 6 adults and a young child for a family wedding. It was super clean and cozy for us all and much more economical and comfortable than a hotel would have been. We would definitely recommend it and would stay again - hopefully when we have more time to explore the area, which is beautiful!

Our visit to Atwood Lake was a wonderful time together with family and friends. The home was just as advertised with the necessary conveniences. The owner was responsive and helpful and we enjoyed the lake services by using the beach (fee) and rented a pontoon boat for a few hours. I would very much recommend a stay here. The only issue for this place is if a member of your party is in a wheelchair, there are steps to climb and once inside there are multiple levels between the entry room, kitchen/living space and bedroom. Also, bring your food in from Carrollton or New Philadelphia as the small market in Delroy is little more than an ice and beer stop with no fresh produce, meats or deli.
