I called to make sure everything was ready 48 hours prior to check-in and was told everything would be communicated 24 hours prior to check-in... No e-mail or text. At time of check-in I had to call to get codes. Although there are pictures of off- street parking in the add, I was told we had to find a place on the street to park. All streets looked like a war zone with holes, mud, water pumps, and barricades all around the property. The house was very clean, but kitchen faucet was broken and almost fell off when we tried to use it. Front bedroom had broken glass light globe. Master bedroom had a bed that made so much noise we could not sleep. Just turning a head on the pillow would make the bed so loud that it woke both of us. The neighbors came in well after midnight and it sounded like there was only a curtain between us as their adult affections were heard through the walls. Since I had to park in a war zone, my truck was covered in dirt after a few days out front of the house. One of our guests is visually impaired, so walking in the area of this VRBO was almost impossible. I communicated the above through text, but all I could get in return were offers to check-in early and offers to stay late... both at additional costs.
