Lots of space in a beautiful home with the wonderful New Orleans charm and architecture.Off street parking for one car is definitely a plus. Chris was available if we needed him.

I’ll keep it brief as possible. Who wants to have to manually open and close a broken gate upon entering and leaving a property? Spent an hour “troubleshooting” WiFi when the whole time WiFi password was actually wrong.Sinks in both bathrooms upstairs backed up when in use and leaked on the floor.A big part of us renting this property was for the “heated pool” and lights in the pool that are supposed to keep the party going after dark.I quickly noticed the pool would not heat so I called the host. Them and only then he tells me that the pool has a leak and tell me to drop a timed hose in it to refill it so that it could heat up. Pool did heat although that lasted 15 minutes before it was cold again. On top of that one of the two pool lights was broken which he replied with “I wasn’t aware of that”. Like it isn’t his property.My wife and sister and law had to clean up the backyard there was leaves, bugs, etc in the pool.There’s more but I’m tired of typing. But to top it off when I made the host aware he got an attitude with me like I was the problem. I honestly don’t know how he’s gotten all of these perfect ratings. Never again.

Host communication was outstanding- very responsive to us - one of the best ever in our rentals. Location was great. Quiet neighborhood but walkable to the French Quarter and lots of nearby restaurants. Notes from our party- “the pool was warm” and “the house was adorable “. We had a great time!

We visited for my husbands 40th with family and friends. Chris’ place was perfect!!! It was a spacious and well decorated- the outdoor area and pool were so nice when we wanted to relax. Chris immediately responded when we had any questions and gave us awesome recommendations for nearby hangouts. The house was super clean. We had the best time! Definitely recommend. We will be back!!

Perfect Jazz Fest Stay

We were 8 adults (4 couples) in this house for a weekend of Jazz Fest and it was a perfect place for us. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out, great communal space for laughs, and easy check in / check out logistics. Only a short ride from the fairgrounds and easy walks to Bywater or French Quarter, we found plenty to do in the neighborhoods. Chris was quick to respond on any questions that came up. Appreciate him opening up his home to us and look forward to the next round in New Orleans.

Great stay for Jazz Fest

The property is outstanding. Its location allows for easy access to all the best spots in Mee Orleans. The house has a great kitchen, backyard, and space for entertaining. All bedrooms are great for couples. The guest house is nice for an extra bedroom.

Amazing house for guys trip !

We had an amazing time New Orleans and this house and location was a big reason! House was fantastic, very modernized, spacious and perfectly accommodating. Pool was great and the detached cottage house a nice add. The location was perfect for us. This pocket of area is perfectly located in a revitalized part of the neighborhood and very accessible to all areas. Walking distance to most made for some fun impromptu exploring or a quick uber ride if needed to others. The local establishments we ventured to were super fun and everyone was very friendly.  Each experience was a blast. The host for this property was exceptional. Super quick to respond with the couple questions we had, was very helpful with tips and suggestions, plus went out of their way to text and check in during the visit to make sure we were happy and helped make the New Orleans better than we had even hoped. Highly recommend!

Superb Thanksgiving 2024

The pictures did the house no justice… when I arrived I immediately fell in love with the house.. roomy, quiet area, lots of amenities, well kept, secure, and we had a fabulous time… the Owner was very attentive and kind… I would stay here again. Happy Holidays!!

Great house near French Quarter

Usually have stayed at hotels when in NOLA, but this time my friends and I wanted to try a house. It didn’t disappoint. Great to have a pool. Loved the high ceilings. Very cheap Uber to French quarter. Will hope to stay again.

Wonderful New Orleans

Really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was great, we regularly walked to Frenchman Street, and to and from the French Quarter. It was also convenient to Jazz fest as well by short uber. The master bedroom is stunning, with a repurposed door for a headboard and a copper bath tub. The pool was warm, heated, and glowed colors at night. The kitchen and living space were spacious and upscale. It was a very comfortable stay in a very diverse and authentic up-and-coming neighborhood (St. Roch) that made us feel like locals.

Big Easy Getaway

Fantastic home and awesome host - this home has it all. There is some roadwork that make the neighborhood a challenge to maneuver - yet the home more than makes up for the challenge. Spacious, well decorated, and well equipped, the home provides the perfect escape from everything while still being close to all that is New Orleans. I would highly recommend and look forward to a return trip to NOLA and the home.

Great house and pool, quiet area

The property was as advertised — great place!! Perfect for a small gathering. Only one issue, which is no fault of the owner, is the road construction in front of the house. It is currently all dirt so you must expect that. I’d gladly stay again!
