  • This stylish place to stay is perfect for group trips w/ 2 king & queen bed! Conveniently on the 4800 block of New Orleans' famous Tchoupitoulas Street in the heart of the amazing uptown corridor! Near all the parade routes, 2 blocks from Rouses, Win-Dixie, and across the street from Golden File Nail Salon! All the street parking around here is free and abundant! This home was beautifully restored but still feats many historic features of a Historic New Orleans Shotgun - Each room is connected!

    We get our towels from a linen company. Sometimes the towels might have blotches (i.e., bleach stains, burn marks, or tears). Our housekeeping does their best to ensure there are no hairs in the towels, but if one is found, it's likely from our housekeeping staff. We strive for this to never happen. If you're not satisfied with the linens, please let us know and we’ll gladly swap them out for you. Please make sure to book for the correct number of guests, as linens are prepared accordingly.

The home was so clean and exactly what our family needed. It had a full kitchen with appliances as well as washer and dryer. It was a great get away for our family of 6. The communication was absolutely wonderful with the property owners and management. Would definitely return to visit this property if in the area again.

Great Family Experience

I have a family of 5 (18, 16, 4 my husband and I) and we needed some room. This place was amazing! Clean, comfortable,spacious. Good area. Quick with answering questions and would check in to make sure all was well. Over all a great experience!

Nice Place

Nice place, would stay again. It’s 2 doors down from a bar that’s open til 5 am. Kind bed was very very soft. Had nice amenities.

Great rental at a great price

Old style shotgun house. House is old, but in good repair. A bit of a walk to the streetcar, but there is a bus just a few blocks down

Vacation Home close to everything

Home was close to Walmart, French Quarters, Convention Center, Superdome, Escape Rooms, Restaurants, Bowling Alleys, Bars, Snowball Stand, and it would be a great place to watch Mardi Gras Parades. We were able to have 5 adults and 1 teenager to sleep and relax comfortably in the home. It was a terrific experience to spend time with family members 3 States apart from one another.

Good spot

Good spot in a nice neighborhood close to Magazine. A little noisy and you have to walk through all the bedrooms to get to the bathroom. Typical New Orleans shot gun house. Not fancy but all you need for a few days.

Everything was cleaned and stocked like it should. I had a terrible booking experience. I had to cancel this due to having an unexpected funeral to attend but was told I could not get my money back and the owners weren't budging. That was fine due to this being in their policy. Instead of being out of my money I asked if I could rebook this and was told yes but I would have to pay for this again. I paid for the place a 2nd time out full and was assured that I wouldn't be charged twice and the affirm payment would be refunded. Today I messaged Genesis to check on this because my affirm payment is due in 2 days and I get told I now need to contact Vrbo. These people stole my money all while dealing with the passing of a loved one. I would not book!! Also there is a bar right next door!!

Nice stay

We had a nice stay and really enjoyed our first visit to the city. The first morning we discovered the coffee maker didn’t work, notified Genesis and there was one waiting for us when we got home that afternoon. The beds were comfortable and the linens were nice. The pillows were all the same, which I didn’t care for, but the other two people didn’t complain. The bathroom was loaded with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, the towels were soft & fluffy! The kitchen/living was very small but it was ok since we were gone most of the time. There was a convertible table with chairs, but I don’t know where it could have been used without constantly being in the way. The washer & dryer are located in the 1st bedroom, not in a shed in the back yard, which was nice to find. The first 2 bedrooms have a closet, but the 3rd bedroom had no place to put clothes or luggage, so an addition of some foldable luggage stands would be great. We were able to park right in front every night except Friday and had to park down the block on the other side, not too bad. The unit is a duplex with wood floors so your neighbors could be very heavy footed and noisy. Friday night we were also kept awake very late by the noise from a bar somewhere behind the house. All in all I would definitely stay here again.

A great little get away. The beds were comfy. We felt like it was home. Had everything that we needed. Was very clean. Even though there was a bar next door you didn't really hear anything. To our surprise there was a fan in the closet and that help and was great b/c I can't sleep without that fan noise! Definitely would stay there again

Good location with easy access to uptown, Magazine St., the Garden district. Great value. Super communication. Convenient street parking right in front of the property. Highly recommend for a clean, updated, reasonably priced stay.
