sont rent from these people. while we were there they had a construction peoject going in the backyard. nothing like relaxing to the sounds of jackhammers and compressor motors.the workers told us we couldnt park in the driveway and when my wife did they keyed her car. during the short time we could spend outside two of our group suffered injuries from the nails sticking out of the deck. pick of river is totally misleading-there is no river access.

Nice house but……….

The house is nice. It’s a good property with a nice yard. It’s quiet and the house was reasonably clean, but it’s obviously a property in decline. I do not believe the owners are paying attention to maintaining the property to maintain a five star rating. The pool was obviously not well taken care of, the patio area and deck were not prepared for guests. There were leaves, broken chairs and garbage obviously having been there for a long time that they have just left in a pile. The shower room by the river was dirty and smelled bad. The downstairs toilet rocks when you sit on it. The furniture is broken down. The bbq grill is broken. These are all examples of lack of attention. However the beds were comfy and the kitchen well stocked. Additionally, the cleaning service showed up at 10:30 and told us we were supposed to be gone. Check out is at 11. Our vehicle was in the driveway so she knew we were still here. Would I stay here again…….no

House itself was great but.....

They had the perfect place in a nice setting but there were TWO incidents that ruined the experience. First the first morning after a 16 hour drive we were woken up early in the morning by a man with the loudest leaf blower at our pool in the fenced yard right outside our bedroom window! and the leaves werent even blown out so it felt like it was done to just wake us all up. The second thing and the absolute worst thing after paying $3k for three days was housekeeping showing up way BEFORE it was even check out time practically pushing us out the door and literally stayed in the driveway until we were gone. I thought that was incredibly rude to rush us out the door after spending all that money when we were leaving at the given check out time!. So again great place but dont appreciate being woken up and kicked out early. Oh and bunk beds ..the small one was broken at the bottom my daughter fell through as we werent told the slats were all broken on it.

Family vacation

6 adults and 5 children ( 2 infants) went to spend family time together. Children very young so enjoyed the pool Hot tub, fishing and large yard. The house is much nicer than listing shows! It was very clean and had a well equipped kitchen. The communication was a little hard and often didn’t seem to know much about the property. There are no pictures of the pool and hot tub and described as a river view only property . This home sits right on the Guadalupe river! The water level is too low to swim but fishing was great for the kiddos. I asked if there was a portable crib and told no so we brought one and there were two at the house. The twin bunk bed had a box spring on one and mattress on the other. It’s not comfortable to sleep on a box spring so hope they fix that . Also some beds were missing bottom sheets . The pool water was clean but bottom was dirty due to a non working sweeper. Overall it was a very good experience and we highly recommend the house for large family or group of friends.
