"Very friendly, helpful staff. Had an excellent breakfast and, although I didn't eat in the evening, the menu looked very appealing. Good atmosphere in the bar and generous supply of tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. All in all a positive experience."

"Staff uniforms were filthy and the floors were covered in food. Owner didn't greet with a smile nor was very friendly. There were broken ornaments on display. Shower door was broken and didn't close properly and the shower itself was a dribble of water. Im glad it was onky for one night!"

"These people are not interested in their guests and do not deserve anyone's custom. Apart from the barman, the owners completely ignored us on arrival while huddled around a table with their backs to us. We had travelled over 200 miles to get there, having booked many weeks ago and paid for They left us standing there for over 40 minutes with no explanation as to why we were still waiting for the key to our room. Eventually, someone who was almost impossible to understand came to us saying the...

They made a great breakfast including eggs Benedict and a wonderful supper that gave you 3 different options for meat. The decor is amazing in both the bedroom and the rest of the decor. "We never had a view, we looked out to the back of buildings,which was ok,we dont mind too much, the mattress was shocking, really saggy at the top end on 1 side, we ended up turning the mattress, as it felt like i was sleeping on a hill."
