"Room and staff outstanding didnt stay for breakfast "

"I have stayed here many times and have never had a problem. Staff are always super friendly and very welcoming. You get a real welcoming ‘local pub’ feel when you go in. The bar area is really cosy and the food is fantastic-large portions and a good choice on the menu. Sunday roast is great too!! Rooms are clean, comfortable and have everything you need. An excellent place to stay so I would highly recommend. "

"An interesting hotel housed in a group of medieval buildings. Lots of exposed beams and narrow stairs. The staff were friendly and helpful and we were very comfortable for the one night we spent there. The food is ok. Nothing to complain about at this price point. Very good value."

"This is a really fabulous small hotel. The mostly young staff are wonderful and have really good customer service skills. The room we had was large and warm and really nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable with sufficient pillows and some nice cushions.It was apparent that thought had been put in to all aspects of our stay. There were lovely little touches in the room - biscuits, fresh coffee and a cafetière, an extra blanket, and even recycling facilities in the room itself. We had a vegan...

"The staff were very helpful and welcoming on arrival. I had a comfortable and clean room. I had a good bathroom with good lighting and a good shower door so no water leaking out onto the floor which can often happen in hotels. The breakfast was good. So I enjoyed my stay. Thank you to the staff and I will book again to stay here when in the Taunton area. "
