Little Bush Hut demonstrates that good things do indeed come in small packages - making a very small indentation on the three and a half acres of native bush it is located on. A seasonal creek cuts through the property providing running water during the wet season. Whilst it may be a hut by name, you will most certainly not be roughing it!



Little Bush Hut is finished to a very high standard. Kitted out with stylish furnishings, lovely linens and quirky homewares. A small kitchen is equipped with a ceramic cooktop, a full size oven and a single dish drawer dishwasher. Wake your ideas up in the morning with the help of the Nespresso coffee machine.



A large scale sliding door is a feature of the open plan interior slide it one way to completely cover the kitchen or the other to separate the bedroom from the living area. Open up your louvered doors to expand your living space to include your front and rear decks. Take a relaxing bath in the external bathtub housed on the back deck or spend some time under the rain shower in the spacious and sleek bathroom. Little Bush Hut is perfect for couples who appreciate seclusion and luxury.



Enjoy the sensation of bush isolation whilst still being close to everything you may require. Walking distance to restaurants and bars for the fitter, more energetic folk amongst us, or a short stroll of around 200 metres to the bus stop if you would prefer. There are his and hers bicycles at your disposal too! Cycle out to gather supplies and retreat back to Little Bush Hut to hide away and enjoy the unique features of your temporary home.



Laze on the cow hide or perhaps recline on a banana lounge its your choice! Its laid back-bush-luxe at its best.

A security camera has been installed for guests peace of mind. The camera only monitors driveway/front entrance/front of property area. Please contact us if you have any questions about this.

Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

Schoolies or School leavers will not be accepted.



Guest Access:

You will have access to the whole house.



The Neighborhood:

Magnetic Island is located 8km from Townsville and accessible by passenger or vehicle ferries.

67% of Magnetic Island is National Park Land, allowing for 36km of walking tracks with Australian wildlife like Koalas, Echidnas, Wallabys and many different birds. These tracks lead to magnificent views of the Island, its bays and surrounding blue Coral Sea.



Getting Around:

Magnetic Island can be easily accessed by the public bus service and taxis.

If you prefer to travel at your own pace there are hire cars available once on the Island. Parking is available.

Public Transport options are a close walking distance from The Little Bush Hut.



Other Things to Note:

Please be mindful of your neighbours and keep noise to a minimum.
