February at the Beach

Family vacation

Awesome Tranquillity

We love staying at Navarre Beach. This unit at The Pearl is very nice and updated. The balcony gives you a beautiful view of the gulf and the pier. The pools are are also well maintained. We will be back.

The unit was wonderful…everything we needed.. just beautiful!

We loved this unit… the only disappointments were the lower mattress in the bunk bed was not comfortable.. and the jets on the jacuzzi tub didn’t work…noise from the pool below went on after 10 and kids were yelling and screaming up to and after 10..we would definitely stay in this unit again tho

Solid place to stay

Nice view of the beach. Condo and property were very clean if slightly out of date. What kept us from a 5 star is the little things. No hair dryer. No motor in the jetted tub. No welcome package. Stuff like that. 30 min to either Destin or Pensacola gives you options for stuff to do.

Wonderful vacation

Very comfortable condo. Lots of room. Master bed is firm but very comfortable. Huge master bath. Great location and views of Gulf. The Pearl is a really nice building. We stayed 3 weeks. We would go back.

Our Navarre experience

Property was fine and had some renovation/ construction going on so part of parking lot & 1/2 of pool was tapped off for entry. Signage to the building/ was POOR! Very hard to see in the dark & building was nestled between 2 larger - adjoining properties / not related to The Pearl.

Great place. Would stay again!

We really enjoyed the condo. The location to the elevator, pool, beach access, and trash chute made the stay super convenient. We enjoyed the outdoor furniture so we could spend a lot of time on our balcony. The kitchen had everything we needed and washer/dryer was so nice to have! We felt very comfortable here. When we come back, I’d definitely book this condo again! The check in and texting from the hosting company was also nice.

The Pearl 604

Overall, our two-week stay was pleasant and wonderful. The unit is exactly as the pictures depict. The bed was a bit high in the MBR for someone who is 5'1". We had to buy a step stool for me to get in bed. LOL! The mattress wasn't the greatest, but I still slept fine. I just prefer a softer bed. Neither of these things were an issue or complaint-just my personal experience/opinion. I loved the yellow Adirondack chairs on the balcony. I also loved the colorful barstools-the only issue is they sat too low for me and my 13-year-old son. Again, short people problems. We love The Pearl (our 2nd time to stay) and Navarre Beach. The views are amazing from most any room in the unit. I would definitely stay at this unit again. It was decorated nicely and equipped with all the necessary kitchen tools and gadgets. There are also board games to play and books to read if you didn't bring one. The property owners even have chairs and beach toys if needed. We utilize the chair service but having extra chairs is always a plus. Two pools plus a hot tub and an easy walk to the beach make this property a must stay for me and my family. We hope to see you again next year!

Great week and nice condo!!

This condo was very spacious and clean! Great views of the gulf and everyone was very friendly!! We will definitely be back! When we booked the condo it said it included an umbrella and chairs. This did not mean a beach set up as I originally thought. There was a small umbrella and lawn chairs in the closet. We did not want to carry all of that to the beach so we rented a set up. I would highly recommend this condo!

Navarre Vacation

The condo was very clean and spacious. The high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows gave us beautiful views of the gulf. We also enjoyed the two pool areas that were always clean and spacious. We appreciated that the complex was gated, the common areas were well maintained and clean, and the staff quickly responded to the minor maintenance issues that arose during our stay. There were some drawbacks to this particular unit. The pictures on the website do not correctly depict the furniture in the condominium. The living room pictures show a couch with two overstuffed chairs and ottomans. The chairs were not present and had been replaced by a loveseat. There were no ottomans or coffee table to put our feet up, which made sitting and watching TV a bit uncomfortable. The pictures of the chairs on the balcony appeared to be comfortable rattan furniture. Instead, there were two Adirondack chairs and 4 stackable outdoor chairs with four small tables. While they were fine, I suspect they were not as comfortable as what appeared in the pictures. The decorative comforter and pillows in the master bedroom were not as pictured. While this wasn’t significant by itself, it goes to the overall lack of accuracy in the description. As in other properties we have rented, we did not find any information or directions for the TV. The TV in the living room was not connected properly and maintenance had to be called to connect the unit. Of minor consequence was the bar chair height. They were too low for the countertop and again, not the chairs that were pictured. We ate our meals on the balcony, but it would be very uncomfortable for adults to eat in this space and impossible for children to reach. Finally, even though the property management responded quickly when we had concerns, we felt that these minor issues (dryer knob not functioning, broken toilet handle, TV adjustment, dead batteries in all battery operated clocks) should have been addressed by the housekeeping staff before we arrived. We have been renting from VRBO for about 15 years. This is the first time we have encountered a property that was misrepresented and with this number of maintenance issues. None of the issues were a ‘deal breaker’, and as previously stated, management was extremely responsive when we contacted them. However, it was very disappointing that when we paid what we feel was a premium price to rental property; it was not what was represented.
