Beautiful historic building, extremely clean (with the exception of some blonde hairs, we found throughout unit: on the throw blanket, the towels, and even on a plate; but this doesn’t bother me too much; maybe cleaning person just needs to wear their hair back). Unit was well equipped for our needs and owner was extremely accommodating of our early arrival. Unit (sofa/bedding/towels) did not have any weird smells. That being said, we would not stay here again as it was a little too far out for us, which we knew when we booked; would just prefer to be a little bit closer to more options next time we come. The closest amenities was the gas station, which was a five minute walk. This property also felt very much like a frat house, with lots of younger guests or tenants in the building. If you are sensitive to noise, this place is not for you. You can hear neighbors coughing, sneezing, having sex, barfing; all of it. We had to sleep with earplugs as the people upstairs would come home late at night walking with their boots on the hardwood floor. Nevertheless, we slept quite good with earplugs. The bed was a little too soft for me and the synthetic filled pillows were too high for a petite woman, but all in all was a very memorable stay.
