Oh my… where do I even begin?!Donna is truly one of the most lovely hosts you could ever ask for. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much care and heart she puts into creating an amazing experience.The cottage was immaculately clean and as pet owners, we were blown away by how thoughtfully she caters to pets while still keeping everything pristine. That is NOT easy to do, and she absolutely nailed it.One of my favorite things was the wraparound porch completely gated, so you can relax outside with your pets and not worry at all. The backyard is an absolute dream too,fully fenced, spacious, and perfect for dogs to run and play.The entire property is incredibly private, peaceful, and relaxing. Every morning waking up to birds chirping felt like we were tucked away in a mountain cabin.Inside, the cottage is beyond cozy with fireplaces in both the bedroom and living room. And if you forgot anything? Don’t worry!Donna has literally thought of EVERYTHING. From every kind of coffee you could want, to individual toothpaste packets, to endless little extras… I’ve never seen anything like it.You can truly tell she’s not doing this just for the money she genuinely wants people to have an unforgettable stay, and it shows in every detail. The location is perfect!About 25 minutes from downtown Nashville. Close enough to enjoy everything, but far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle. And you have to check out Depot Bar & Grill—we loved it so much we went twice!

The host upgraded us to a little bigger cabin (we didn’t necessarily need it, but always appreciated!)Cabin 3 was the cutest ever! Had all the amenities we could need plus some! When they say pets welcome, they aren’t exaggerating, they really are thinking about the pets needs! The fenced in yard was so nice to be able to let our dog roam after a long car ride. The cabin is clean and very nicely decorated. If we are ever passing through again, I will definitely stay again! Highly recommend!

Great property. Host really caters to persons traveling with the pets - no hidden fees or extra charges for our dog. Property is well stocked with everything you need. Great quiet rural location with easy access to everything Nashville has to offer. Loved our stay and anytime we return to Nashville we will plan to stay here again.

Amazing!

Everything about this property was wonderful. Distance from Nashville was just far enough to make us feel at home, but only a short drive to everything we wanted to do. Host had the place stocked with anything we might need in case we forgot something. VERY dog friendly. We brought our two Aussies and they were able to go off leash and enjoy the yard and patio area. We will definitely stay here again and recommend the cabins to our friends and family.

Everything we needed

The space was perfect for us and our furry friend. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and relax. The outdoor space was wonderful for morning coffee and meals and allowed the dog space to roam free of a leash. The inside was set up well and cozy. The kitchen had all the necessary items we needed to cook our meals and was stocked with snacks (human and dog). Loved the quiet and views from the property, loved walking down the road to purchase farm fresh eggs at a roadside stand. The property manager was welcoming, communicative and understanding. Great all around experience.

Unbelievable

This place is was unbelievable! If you love your dogs, you MUST stay here. We went to move our daughter out of WKU and wanted to take the dogs and stay the weekend. Our dogs loved it as soon as they arrived. You open a gate to your porch and lock it behind you and just let them go. This is a property that knows dogs and absolutely loves them. Donna was very quick to reply to anything I needed. The canine was very clean, everything was easy to use and she even left us supplies for the bathroom, trash bags, coffee, creamer, sugar, dogs bowls inside and outside, extra pee pads and dog treats. The air conditioning unit, fireplace & fans remotes are hanging on the wall and are user friendly. This weekend it rained the entire time and it still made it easy with the dogs. We plan to go back when we visit WKU. Thand you Donna.

Wow! Perfect place for any couple traveling with a pet.

I will have a hard time trying to describe how perfect this place is. We only stayed overnight to shorten our longer road trip, but 5 minutes after arrival we knew we’d have to come back for a longer stay. We are probably half an hour from downtown Nashville, so you could get all the hustle and bustle you wanted there and then return to the peace a quiet of this gem. There is not a single thing overlooked here. Outside is cozy and comfy - we spent most of our evening just relaxing out there. Inside is better equipped than my home. How many places has anyone stayed where a spare contact lens case was provided? That’s just one example of the attention to detail invested here. Our cabin being pet friendly (not sure if the other one is as well) was well equipped for the four legged family members as well - and the gift bag of welcoming milk bones was a nice touch. Perfect place, perfect hosts - we’ll definitely be back!

Home Away From Home

This was my second visit to this wonderful property. The best place for me and my dogs. This property is as dog-friendly (if not dog-loving!) as it gets. Donna knows how to do things right for dogs and their humans! Both properties are very well kept and each is unique. As I've said before, the drive to the property is beautiful as well. These properties are 10 out 10 all the way.

Cali Cottage

My husband and I traveled up from southwest Florida with our two fur babies, and we just enjoyed 9 wonderful days in this adorable studio cottage! Donna is a very warm, and caring host! The cottage is just so adorable with everything you need! The outside area is just as amazing! We spent as much time as possible on the back patio facing the beautiful nature scenery including a family of deer who we saw on a daily basis! Our dogs especially enjoyed the cooler weather and time on the patio with us. There is also a large “dog park” for them connected to the outdoor patio.if you need to get away from It all and enjoy beautiful nature sounds and peace and quiet you will love it! Thank you Donna for allowing our fur children to join us and for providing such a clean, fully stocked and lovely cottage! We would most definitely come back again and we highly recommend it! Ten Stars X 2

Now we’re talkin’!

What a lovely, lovely breath of fresh air…literally and figuratively. Incredibly beautiful spot in the hills north of Nashville. These hosts have thought of everything you could possibly want or need. The patio and side yard are dreamy for humans and pets alike. Comfortable, well-maintained, charming, quiet…and deer on the hillside evening and morning just to add a cherry on top. Thank you for thinking of hosting people with dogs — it’s not easy to find and we love our furry friends and appreciate seeing them comfortable.

The Best

We stayed in the cottage for a week while visiting family. The cottage met and exceeded all our needs. The fenced in yard is a bonus for our fur family. The dogs felt like they were home. They don't want to eat when we stay at hotels. But, at Donna' little cottage, they didn't skip a beat.

Peaceful Cottage Stay

This place is absolutely perfect. No detail has been forgotten - the host makes sure anything you could possible need is provided. The location is amazing, truly feeling like you are in the country while only being about 25 minutes from downtown Nashville. Our pups loved the fenced in yard and dog treats that were thoughtfully left out for us. We will be back! Thanks again, Donna!

Nashville Getaway

Decided to take a short trip to Nashville area. Found this efficient/studio like apartment that was perfect for the two of us and our dog. Inside has everything you need and then some. The outdoor area is clean, spacious and our dog enjoyed the fenced area, too.

Highly recommend

You’d be foolish not to stay here, specially if you’re traveling with your pet. Couldn’t be more pet friendly. They have everything you could ever need available. Smaller space but laid out really well. Great outdoor space.

Everything you need and more

We were suprised how much room this studio cottage provided. The inside is adorable and the amenities are all there including many extra little things that you may have forgotten to pack. The yard is VERY spacious with plenty of seating and the dogs loved their personal dog park. With put a doubt we would stay here again. Thank you Donna for our awesome stay and excellent communication

Great little studio

We thought this place was really nice. The outside fenced area was perfect for our dog. The outdoor kitchen and patio area was a great place to hang out after a long day in Nashville. It is about a half hour away so it's a little far. But it's well worth the drive to stay here. All the comforts of home. Would definitely stay here again.
