Great Host / Needs Maintenance

The hosts did a great job communicating with us throughout our stay. The property is in need of a lot of maintenance, though. The kids could not use the play yard. It did not look anything like the pictures. It had exposed nails, broken boards, the sand underneath was full of weeds and animal droppings and the slide was dirty and weathered. The bikes were rusted and in poor condition. The putting green was full of sticks and stones and was not maintained. Our biggest disappointment was the indoor pool. It is kept at 82 degrees, but since their humidity control is not working, half the windows had to be left open to avoid condensation on the ceiling. Thus, the water cooled very quickly overnight and it was quite cool in there while swimming. They did raise it to 84 for us, but the air temperature did not allow the kids to stay in long. The game room is a big plus and the kids had a great time playing the variety of games. Lastly, be aware that the downstairs exercise equipment/bedroom/living area that are displayed in the pictures, are not included in the listed VRBO price. Great host, lots of amenities, but the property is run down.

Wow!

What a delightful home! The descriptions of the property are spot-on, so I won’t reiterate them here. The arcade is a blast! And the pools and hot tubs were a hit with our family. There is definitely something for everyone and for all ages – if you are bored during your stay, it is your own fault! The hosts are very responsive, accessible and helpful. They have filled the home with many thoughtful, hospitable details … abundant number of towels; black make-up washcloths; two (2) types of coffee makers; well-stocked variety of k-cups and creamers in the kitchen; comfy beds, and no annoying checkout to-do list! We are looking forward to our next visit.

We really enjoyed our stay in Nashville staying at This house was great. We could Uber to downtown food nearby and plenty to do at the house. Some games didn’t work.. Indoor pool was fine at night. The fire at night was fun with some s’mores. Would definitely book this place again

Family Vacation

Had a great time in Nashville. Loved property location. Kids loved game room and pools. Adults loved outdoor spaces and hot tubs. Bedrooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable. Ample parking for all. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching the wildlife at nite. Host were very responsive to any and all needs and questions. Would definitely stay agian.

Great for families

We had the absolute best vacation stay. We ended up cancelling our plans to go downtown Nashville because we were having so much fun at the house. So much to do for our kids (6-14 year olds). We didn't have one single complaint.

Great house, plenty to do (or not do!)

Great house - good location (25 minutes to Nashville), plenty of food places nearby (Center Point BBQ is literally 2 minutes - great, old school BBQ), cool games in the arcade room (though it is a bit cramped), and who can complain about two pools? Unfortunately, only there for three days with a small group, so wasn't able to take advantage of everything.

Grandkids didn’t want to leave the house

This home is amazing for kids. My five grandchildren range in age from 16 - 8, and all of them had plenty to do. It rained on and off during our stay, but the kids would just move from the outdoor pool to the indoor pool when necessary. My 8 year old grandson really loved the arcade room. He told me he rates it 11 on a 1-10 scale!

Late review of Spring Break

The owners stayed on site with us in their motor home, but we never saw them unless we asked for them to come and help with something. The house is great and the game room was awesome. You just have to watch out for the electrical loads so you don’t trip a breaker. I would recommend this place for families or large groups. We never wanted to leave cause there was so much to do.

Week in the Summer

We had a great time at the property. The home was well stocked with everything you would need to enjoy your stay. The homeowner was very responsive to any questions. The location is a quiet neighborhood close to stores and 15-20 minutes from downtown (we had no issues getting an Uber)

Enjoyed our time together

We were happy with our stay. We had everything we needed. If anything was forgotten store's were close by. The in door pool had a locking door which was nice for our little ones. The game room, sand volleyball, and other activities were more than enough for us. We really enjoyed the space. Owners are close by and willing to assist if needed.

Wonderful Stay

There was so much to do! Out of the city, but so very easy to get in and out of Nashville. Kathy was so very kind, informative and easily available for questions or needs. From our child to her grandparents everyone enjoyed the arcade, pools, hot tubs and outdoor areas. Everyone was exhausted every night for all the fun around the property. Can't wait to go back!

Amy G's Jan. 30 review was largely correct.

After seeing Amy G's review, I reached out to Kathy as I had strong concerns because the main reason we were going was because of the pool and arcade games. Kathy was very kind (like Amy said), explained that they had never had concerns like this before in regard to the pool / games but, admitted again that 5 weren't working but, they were going to try to get somebody in to fix those games and make sure the pool was close to the mid 80s in temperature. At arrival, we found out the games hadn't been fixed (Kathy did have a family issue but, I really don't think the games were ever going to be fixed). Also, as we started playing we learned just because a game turns on doesn't mean it works. Note most of these games are 30+ years old with quirks (meaning they by and large do not work well). The skee-ball game didn't keep score half the time, the b-ball game sometimes worked, the air hockey game didn't have a lot of air pressure, 1 of the HydroThunder games went on the blink half the time, etc. These games did not work at all: Sports Shooting, Target Force, 1 Sega Super GT, Arcade Legends, Boxing game, Big Buck and Deer Hunting USA. The Deal or No Deal was really just a waste of space as the only purpose was to win tickets which, wasn't going to happen in a residential setting. There is no direct access from the house to the pool so, when it is 35 degrees outside, it is "chilly" making that transition back / forth. The actual pool was not as bad as Amy suggested and we were allowed to close a few windows to help make it comfortable but, at no time were we able to stay in the pool for more than an hour which was disappointing. Kathy said it was set to 84 degrees but, that doesn't mean it ever got to 84 degrees. I think Kathy is an attorney or in the legal field because, you have to be careful on her answers! I feel bad that they spent a lot of money apparently to fix the pool mechanical system but, it still doesn't work. The karaoke machine wasn't hooked up, Kathy offered to come over to fix it but, at this price point, things should be checked out in between guests. Also, it should be noted the hosts are "on property" in a mobile home and sometimes in the non-rented part of the house. This was a bit different to me (and we did hear them from time to time). The bedrooms, bathrooms and TVs were all great. If like the 2/14 review you want a relaxing time, give it a try. Don't go for the swimming in the Winter or the games!

Fun Place!

Kathy and Mike were great hosts! Very clean rooms and so much to do without having to leave the property. If I’m ever in the Nashville area with a big group again wouldn’t hesitate to rebook.

Host was very kind

The host was very kind and even helped us bring in our groceries. She was there to help with check in and gave us a tour. During the tour we learned that some of the games in the arcade were not working properly. We later found out more games were not operating so it was about 50% worked. We also learned in the tour that the indoor pool room had to keep all the windows open because their dehumidifier wasn’t working. In temps below 30, this was not pleasant. If the host was able to raise the temp of the water it may have been enjoyable, but that didn’t happen. So in our attempt to swim, it only lasted 3 min before we had to get out because we were shivering. The indoor pool and arcade were our reasons for booking this property so we were disappointed. The house was clean and stocked with extra linens and towels, we were grateful for that. Over all the host was very kind and easy to communicate with, but we would not recommend if your soul purpose was to enjoy the arcade and the indoor pool (in winter temps). However, I could see this having a more enjoyable experience when the temps are higher and you are able to enjoy the outdoor space, as it was set up very nicely.
