Beautiful 1950’s cabin right on the Cumberland River! We enjoyed grilling, sitting by the fire pit, and the peaceful sounds of nature. Everything was very inviting and comfortable inside and out. The 10 to 20 min drives into Nashville were easy. Our vacation was one of the best.Trudy Kent

This home is absolutely amazing. I couldn’t stop touching the walls. They were so beautiful. You would have to stay here to understand what I mean. There were lots of little touches that just made this place feel perfect. I mean, who would’ve thought heated floors in the bathroom? The whole place was extremely roomy and well designed. I selfishly hope on our next stay the owner will have put together a little brochure about the Cabin and how it came to overlook the river. And also how they came to live there. In today’s society and in Nashville, one never knows about safety, but the home is inside a locked gate and I felt very safe and secure. It is like a private oasis. My granddaughter fell in love with the two ducks and chicken, she said they need more friends. (they have their own space, so they never get in the way) there was a very friendly little dog and cat that came out one night to say hello. Other than the upstairs air conditioner making strange noises it is extremely peaceful. Hopefully our next vacation will be in the winter so we can really check out those heated floors, fireplaces and hot Jacuzzi! I bet the holidays are wonderful here with that beautiful island and kitchen fireplace!Thank you for a wonderful weekend and I hope the grandkids were not too loud! They were excited and had never seen a real life log Cabin. Kandace and family! PS.. 19 minutes from the door to airport!

Best of the Best in Nashville

This Cabin is so special to us now that we have celebrated our mothers birthday there twice in a row! 98th and 99th this last weekend! Looking forward to 100 next year or maybe over the holidays this Winter. THANKS y'all!

Amazing Stay!

My family of 5 loved our stay at the cabin. Monica was so helpful with restaurant and food recommendations. The cabin was stocked with all the essentials and fun extras! The view is amazing, we enjoyed our coffee on the back deck in the morning. Definitely a fun place to stay while in Nashville!

Cozy and relaxing cabin with great river view and eagles!!

This place has everything you need and is close to Nashville attractions. The view of the river is awesome. We sat outside enjoying our coffee and saw a beautiful bald eagle land on the tree in front of us with a fish in tow!! Great experience! We highly recommend this place!

Awesome cabin, great views!

The cabin was awesome! Great location, tucked away with a locked gate area! We LOVED the hot tub and the view from the back yard. Lots of things to do at the cabin. Towel warmer was amazing! Beds were very comfortable. Cabin was really cool! Only thing we wished we had was a closet or dresser in the master bedroom for our clothes. Host provided drinks and snacks and chocolate. She was onsite and wonderful!! Great time!

Coziest Cabin!

We loved our stay! We were immediately in heaven with the wood burning fireplace! Our family of 6 lived in the cozy den and sun roomoverlooking the river! We saw a bald eagle every day perched right outside the glass!! The beds were comfy and everything was clean!! Kids also loved the basketball goal and hot tub! I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Cozy and Romantic

Our stay at the cabin was cozy, romantic, and wonderful! We had an amazing view outside the cabin. We actually were able to see a bald eagle up close in person. This is a nice place to be on our honeymoon!

River Cabin

The River Cabin definitely has an inviting and rustic charm, It was a well equipped retreat. Everything was just right. The only item I would mention is the town of Madison is not very becoming. The real question is "would I book this again" and the answer is a resounding YES!

Just what the Doctor Ordered!

From the property to the host everything was perfect. I had several conversations with Monica and Reuben. They are amazing host and went above and beyond to make sure me and my family were happy and comfortable. I will defiantly be back and highly recommend.

Beautiful cabin

We had the best weekend here. The cabin and property are both awesome! It was very clean and very well stocked with a lot of extras. It had literally everything you need and more. The beds were very comfy and had nice bedding. We loved all of the unique decor. Monica, the host, was so nice and accommodating. We absolutely will stay here again if we are back in the area. 10/10!

The Cabin on the Cumberland River

My husband and grown children and I stayed for 5 nights at this charming and rustic cabin hosted by the most wonderful people We were in heaven here and I actually preferred staying at the cabin to anything we did in Nashville Dawn was as amazing as sunset from the deck overlooking the river It was spotlessly clean and we loved our stay here

Amazing private Cabin Retreat with River Views!

Amazing stay and experience at this wonderful log cabin overlooking the Cumberland river! Was perfect for our family gathering! The house had everything we needed, the kitchen was fully equipped, great layout for entertaining and the separation of bedrooms was perfect for privacy! We knew we hit the jackpot when we entered the gated Drive and motor Court! Also, great location close to Downtown! Hope to visit again this Winter! Cheers!

Perfect Cabin for a Weekend in Nashville

This cabin has it all. Nearby access to highways and proximity to downtown (we mostly used a rental car but we were easily able to Uber to and from Broadway as well). Beautiful decor and little touches like a nice sound system, a well-equipped kitchen, and heated bathroom floors. Outside amenities including a hot tub, fire pit, and grills, all overlooking the river. And to top it off, a communicative, thoughtful host who was a pleasure to coordinate with. Can't recommend this cabin enough!
