Not as advertised-not as "high end" as described

This is listed and priced as an "executive" property but is outfitted and designed more as a budget property. Positives: peaceful, comfy sofa bed, responsive owner, nice hot tub, game room was nice, sufficient hot water and septic worked well, fans provided, good location Negatives: no anti-slip in master tub (fall hazard), carpet was very dirty in some places, door keypad stopped working twice, laundry tub had external mold, lady bugs & stink bugs show up (alive) in various rooms Not typical of "executive" properties: lack of towel bars, poor quality soap products, furniture did not fit rooms, temps controlled by owner not renter, noisy plastic mattress in one bed (downstairs), inadequate kitchen for 6 people, oven broken but owner did let us use his the first night, downstairs toilet too close to wall, slow internet, only 4 pool towels (for 6), filtered water and ice maker in fridge not connected, updates/remodel have been done cheaply and not aesthetically pleasing.

Peaceful Country Retreat

Country home is located about 15 minutes from the busy city of Nashville. We appreciated returning to this peaceful home each day. Owners very responsive to our requests. I would highly recommend and definitely rebook if we return to Nashville.

Overall good

This property has many amenities. We enjoyed the pool table, air hockey, and arcade room. The hosts were good. They dropped off laundry detergent quickly when it was requested so we could use the machines provided. That was appreciated. We also enjoyed the location. Close to Nashville, but in a wooded/scenic area. Lovely for runs in the morning. The kitchen has only the bare minimum, so if you are planning to cook here you may want to bring some of your own items including paper towels. We were glad my brother brought a decent knife so we had something we could cut with. Overall this was a good stay, but it didn't feel as much like a VRBO. The family lives on the property in a side wing of the house, and they use the grounds heavily. This wasn't surprising. They did inform us ahead of time that they would be around, and we were happy to share the space with them, but it felt more like a bed and breakfast than a VRBO. The house is not as squeaky clean and glowing as it appears in the images and video, but it is essentially clean.

We rented this home for a family vacation get together with grown children and grandchildren. The property was nice, but could use some updates. Overall good experience, pool and game room were great for kids (ages 9 and 12). Biggest drawback for us was kitchen size, not able to prepare meals as planned due to size of area.

Summer getaway

We had a wonderful time! The house and property are beautiful. It fit two families really well. The kids loved the pool, and the adults loved playing skee ball. Everything we needed was there.

Beautiful established!

We enjoyed the country scenery yet close enough to shopping. Great place for a small group retreat. Our girls trip did very well here.. 12 of us from all over the country. Great rental!

Inaccurately listed

This property is not worth the price I paid for it. Older home than what pics show and due to the current health crisis I should have been offered the opportunity to reschedule. They had all of my money in January 2020 and I was NEVER contacted about how bad the virus was in Nashville. The kitchen on the lower level had a strong pungent smell of urine my entire stay. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Nice Place

Nice place, but since the owners live RIGHT there (attached quarters), there were a LOT of restrictions that we were not expecting. Lane was in horrible condition (especially if someone would be driving a lower vehicle); could easily damage a car underneath due to the huge ruts. Game room was nothing like what we were expecting either; very tight quarters; pool table sticks and ping-pong table were unplayable. Over all though, it was a nice location; very relaxing, and very clean!!!

Bachelorette party

Great experience here! Property owners are super sweet. House was very clean very spacious. If you’re coming on a bachelor/ bachelorette trip just know that it is a little bit of a distance away so you will have to Uber back-and-forth. Uber Xl was 48 regular Uber 25. Some Uber drivers had a problem driving to the path to get to the house (very dark). For the most part every night we had somebody to drive us. Everything that was listed was included. If you want to use the pool make sure you inquire that ahead of time so you can schedule with the family because they do use it. Overall great house!

Not far from downtown and not in the middle of town. Perfect location!

We loved being just outside of town to avoid all of the craziness when we wanted to relax. Perfect amount of space to accommodate for 12 people. Very clean and has all the utensils you need for cooking. Even has paper towels. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

1882 Baker Road Nashville TN 37209 Our experience at 1882 Baker Road Our party of 12 arrived two days before the eclipse of 2017. First a word of caution, driving up the half mile long driveway through the woods the three deer we saw acted like they owned the road and there are no 'deer crossing' signs telling them where they should cross. Finally we came to a clearing which included two acres of well manicured lawn surrounded by pasture land for three horses and other livestock. The home is nestled next to ten acres of wooded walking trails. The home itself was under described in the promotional material. It is a well maintained and lived in home with small children. Therefore the rental wings of the home are also as child safe as any home can be. The amenities for rental section of the home are well thought out and equipped for short term tenants with gourmet cooking skills. Out door ammonites included a fire pit and gas grill as well a hammocks to hang in the abundant walnut trees. The owners are gracious hosts who worked hard at giving us our space but soon warmed up to our clan which enjoys including others in our recreation. BFQ

Peaceful and Unique--Truly a Blessing

We really enjoyed our stay. It was such a pleasure to deal with the owners; from first making reservations all the way to checking out, he was so friendly, helpful, and sincerely desiring us to have a great time. The atmosphere at this home is very peaceful and the accommodations are excellent-- clean and comfortable. Our large family met to spend some much needed time together as we celebrated a special event and there was plenty of room for all 12 of us. We could easily all gather in one room as well as find smaller spaces to converse one on one. The location is very convenient, just minutes off of I-65 and close enough to Nashville to enjoy time there. We especially enjoyed the uniqueness of this home with special touches such as a theme for decor in each bedroom, Kangen water provided, and most of all the owners' desire to share their home with us. God has blessed them and in turn, many, including our family have been blessed through them!

Very nice and clean. Felt like we where in the country. The place is very nice to I-65. It is a small little farm the owners are very nice and friendly. The overall experience was very nice. If we where ever to return to the Nashville area, I would differently check into this again,
