Unfortunately we didn't arrive until late at night so it was dark when we arrived.
The street was very dark and the house didn't look very welcoming. The yard and bushes were much more overgrown than pictures showed. The deck was also crumbling and had chunks of wood and paint missing
Upon entering the house the initial impression was good. But quickly that changed. As we looked around there was a large dust web running down the entire length of the light hanging above the kitchen table. Door frames had a layer of dust running around them. Lamps, blinds and other areas also had a layer of dust & dirt on them. One door had what looked like a fruit snack between the door and the frame.
Back to the kitchen. There was a severe lack of utensils, silverware, cooking ware and serving ware. We chose to rent a house and not a hotel because we were going to be cookjng a majority of our meals at the house. The lack of everything made this very hard to do.
The area of the house seemed to be ok at first. But when a couple people attempted to walk to a nearby store, they turned around and came back because of the area and people lurking around outside. I feel like the house is right on an imaginary line of a safe area and not safe.
It was nice that we only had about a 5 minute drive to Broadway and most other places we wanted to go.
Overall, the house wasnt going to collapse on itself, but it does need some attention and a very good deep clean. I have addressed this with the company,
