Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Marco (we love Marco), but I probably wouldn’t stay here again. Some small updates/improvements could go a long way. For starters the hallways of the tower were filthy- carpet needs replaced and smelled- which already started us off with a bit of a bad impression before getting to the unit. The unit felt clean for the most part, but could use some updates. The main area was nice and had some updates, but the bedrooms def need updating. Older Carpet in the bedrooms- and in the master bath/sink area (which you couldn’t see in the pictures).
Master bathroom was TINY, and the shower head was awful and a bit Mildewy. I didn’t even use the master bathroom- I used the guest one in the main hallway because it felt cleaner and was bigger with a better shower head. Master bed was hard and not very comfortable. When we got there, there was only one wash cloth in the whole unit, and one of the pillow cases was stained..I contacted property manager next morning and they were very prompt with bringing more washcloths and pillow cases- and followed through. Dinette table on balcony was rusty and wobbley.. and the walk to the beach was definitely longer than it looks in pics, so be prepared to hike. The unit is on the beach, but the beach is veryyyy wide and condo is set back from ocean- which made it a little hard with a kiddo. We did enjoy that our unit was on the corner (privacy) with a large balcony. Also that the unit was equipped with most necessities in kitchen (coffee maker/good pans), and it was definitely nice that they provide beach chairs, cooler and sand toys. Overall- some updates of the property and unit, would make a huge difference.
